Get the sure thing or take my chances?
Should I try my luck getting the Adv. XM8 + DEagle-C or get the normal versions and call it good? I plan on doing surveys to get ZP so I can get more money to try to get them, but I have heard that the xtra ammo + scope just is not worth it, because of the 3-shot burst on the scope, however I have heard that the DEagle-C is worth it, I play GM only, and thats my reasoning for getting these two guns.

if you are playing gm then get the rpk camo =D
Please do not get the RPK. This gun is looked down upon by decent GM players.
If your going to play GM, then just get the regular versions. It's not worth ruining an account by spinning crates and getting jack sht. The regular versions are just as good as the camo/adv ones. Yes, they do have advantages, but there very slight, so I believe you could live with that. -
really? why's it looked down upon?EG_xDesertEagle wrote: »Please do not get the RPK. This gun is looked down upon by decent GM players.

if you want a sure thing that takes skill, get an m60 and go BlindRob on those nubs

Deagle camo is an icon, and the extra shots do help. XM8 is horrible, just the regular XM8 with a pee colored skin, 5 more bullets, and a burst fire with so much recoil that it can't hit the side of house. Kriss is borderline overpowered (I think it's fine personally), Tommy Gun is debatably overpowered (I think it is), WINchester kicks ass but has bad power, I still love it (wish I got it instead of the fing Tommy...) M16-s is a reskinned, quieter SG-552, M6-A and RPK-C are really only helpful in MM, Conda is same as the Deagle, Aug is just an all around good gun, basically a beefed up TAR, AK-S has lower power so it's just a slightly better SG-552, M4-C is a regular looking (black) M4-A with a near useless scope, and that's about it. Oh, and the MSG-90 is a semi-auto M700 with only 1 zoom but a sick ass looking scope, very pro if you can get the headshots.

How is this helpful? I asked should I take my chances getting the crate versions or... get the sure thing. -

Wow. Is it me or did he just make every weapon sound bad? -

Well I just wanted you to know how the crate guns all actually handled, so you can decide for yourself if it's worth the risk.wolfslayerz wrote: »Wow. Is it me or did he just make every weapon sound bad?
Not all of them, some I said were good.
But the XM8 Advance really is worse than the original, and I see more people with the crate gun than the regular version. -
Buy an XM8, spend the rest on DE-C crates, because you can always live without a secondary if you're not lucky enough.
The difference between an XM8 and an XM8-A really only comes down to the sexy looks.
+5 ammo can save you, but XM8 has fairly quick reload time.
XM8 is also a less picked up gun over the XM8-A which is always good.
