Better C4 Graphics

When the bomb blows up the whole place in range of the bomb should be like burned or destroyed along with the walls windows etc!!

Then that would be sweet.

... then we'd have to make nades do the same thing...

stupid idea. for now crossfire has bad graphics as it is...

Not really. And I state again, if MORROWIND can do it with prerendered set swapping using the smoke and camera shake to make it hard to see the instant set switch, I think a game with a minor physics engine can pull it off just fine.

    ok

    1. Your comparing Morrowind to a free FPS
    2. Most people struggle with frame rate enough without any advanced graphics :P
    3. If it isn't broken don't fix it

Morrowind, a game lacking ANY physics engine where all movement was entirely scripted, made in 2001, and had shat graphics even for its time, sold for 20 dollars a game WHEN NEW, and didn't have a lot of a budget to work with (Seeing as bethesda's Daggerfall and Battlespire almsot completely fell through to consumers due to bugs in the initial release) can pull it off, but a game with a physics engine, better graphics, higher budget, can't pull out a friggin instant scene swap that even NES games can do? XD

    1. I am comparing an aged game with a low budget, low sales price, no physics engine, and meh graphics even for its time, to a game with the exact opposite situation.
    2. Advanced graphics? Lrn2Cd. That wouldn't be "Advanced Graphics" it would be a simple scene swap. In lamens terms the script would go

"If bomb goes boom, rez models Rubbel_A Rubbel_B Rubbel_C Rubbel_Clb at saved coordinates and rotation"

    3. They ain't fixing it, they are prettying up. More immersive coding never hurt anyone (Unless the immersion altered gameplay. which in this case it won't)
  • z8 can only fix glitches and bug.. also sent us patches and add little feature like allow spectator. and change gun power and game rule.. they can not change crossfire graphic...
  • Aghh, make the BR's lag more? I don't think so. D=

*Points up to where they had said a non-laggy way to do it*
