The Glock Petition
We stubborn Glock-17 users of CF have decided to strike back. As the weapon is supposed to have an automatic function, and G4Box even put the "Automatic" on when you switch to it, we (representing the willing population of the Glock crowd of CF) would like the Glock automatic (meaning, you hold the button down and it keeps shooting) sometimes in the next patch or soon. Whats your point !? You have the downs or somethin' ?!
A 20 bullet full-auto glock would only support sprayers. Now people use the pistol as the last chance to save themselfes from death by landing a skillfull shot in the last moment. A full auto-glock would just cause people to run around and shoot like idiots.
Oohhhkay, maybe it would be "Soooo realistic since its auto irl... hurr... durrbadurr..." If u want realism, youre in the wrong game. Ever noticed that the m16 ( your f...ing fist wep guys!) isnt automatic in real life ?!? Its a goddamn rifle !
Maybe it would be fun for a second "Hey look at me ! I have 50 to 55 shots to spray around with hahahahaha XDDD im owning youuuu!" but then you would see that you robbed the game its fun and the skillfull part. -

Now I am going to tell you why you know nothing about guns. You see their are many M16 versions, the M16 in this game is the first M16 ever made, this M16 was made and designed back in the Vietnam War, this M16 was full automatic, therefor it is full automatic in this game. The Glock-18 version in this game should be automatic, because it is honestly underpowered, and you have obviously never used a Glock-18 because if you have you would know that it recoils too much to spray and it is too weak to spray so you need to have well placed shots, now before you go and post things I suggest knowing your shiz.

Now I am going to tell you why you know nothing about guns. I don't see a obvious reason to leave CF and its forum forever just because of someone raging.
Also I did not wanted to impress anybody with my knowledge about guns. In my opinion the "realism"-argument just needs to be invalid, that was my point.
Yeah, I dont even care about YOUR knowledge about guns, we're in the wrong forum to discuss that. All I know is that the m16 I was shooting from back then was NOT automatic. And I dont see your point of telling me what the m16 was designed for, it still missed its purpose back then in vietnam...
I can imagine the Glock having super recoil, since it has absolutely no recoil-reduction mechanisms and all energy just goes back into the shooter. But that doesnt matter, since CF is not real life. In CF ( and many, many other shooters that don't hardly try to be realistic ) recoil isnt hard to master. I just dont think CF crew is going to make huge changes when designing an auto glock.
In case theres going to be an autoglock, people would just pick it as the first choice then. 20 bullets, full auto + running faster is a good deal.
What I like about CF is that all the guns are pretty balanced, you need to watch your type of gaming and pick the best gun for you. ( proof - threads always discussing about the correct gunpick ) There is just no THE rifle you should pick or THE pistol you should pick and making the glock auto would change that. -

Just for the record, the Glock 17 is not a fully automatic pistol, the Glock 18 which is the same size, shape and ammo is. The Glock 18 has a fire selection switch on the side which is up for single shot, down for fully automatic. Unlike in CrossFire, there is no 3 round burst function on the actual gun. =P Personally I wouldn't even mind if they kept the G18 how it was when it first came out with low recoil while burst firing, but now the weapon that is almost completely useless unless it you get a headshot has too much recoil to get the 2 shots to the face needed for a kill. I would like it if they made it semi automatic or fully automatic fire selection with a ton of recoil (as it is in real life) after the first 2-3 shots, making spamming it ineffective but leaving the gun not being just a Desert Eagle priced M9.
