Game Suggestion (not a gun)
I don't know if any of you have played a game called GunZ the Duel before, but the game had a feature that I think would transfer nicely to crossfire.
In GunZ you could create (or have someone else create) a crosshair for you to use in game rather then the generic 3 or 4 the game provides.
It's not that difficult either, just take an image, put a dot in the middle, set transparency and save it as a .png or other file types that supports transparency. As fancy or as simple as you want.
SOME EXAMPLES:

You get the idea.

In GunZ you define each part of the crosshair and the program determines how it spreads to show recoil.dandy***xx wrote: »fail... cause how can u tell the recoil.. the crosshair the game gave us get bigger or open up when u spray.. if u use a picture then what wound the game do.. ripe the picture . make the picture bigger? hahhaha
I doubt CF will get this due to the nature of the crosshair and the devs' attitude towards custom content, but it's an interesting idea. -
They should at least come out with a few new ones.[MOD]D34d3y3 wrote: »In GunZ you define each part of the crosshair and the program determines how it spreads to show recoil.

GunZ...Ijji...Soldier Front...
The stuff I played before i came to CrossFire.
Although custom content would be nice, I doubt we would get anything like that here. Can't even have custom killmarks or sounds in tourneys >_< -

The game already handles the recoil spread for crosshairs, as long as we name them correspondingly I.E. crosshair_top_recoil.png the game would do it automatically, we would just need to learn their file naming system.
Sounds to me like your just trying to flame because you don't understand. -

DeadEye must get Saidin and FallenAngel to talk to the dev's.
