What day is it? AKA History behind it?

december 21st 2012, based off astrology, if you understood astrology, it has told the story of our lives, even before man on earth, everything based off astrology has came true this far, which astrologers have only came up with the galactic alignment, and they "believe" the magnetic pulls are going to be flipped around by this alignment, and start shooting heat and debri (which most debri will burn up before it gets here anyways) at earth and having super high temperatures. and we end up flooding, like the story of "the ark of noah" (read other post about noahs ark)

You actually dont believe this, do you?

yes i do believe something is going to happen 2012, i believe it may be a flood of the earth..
and i believe astrology, because i know quite a few astrologers, and i know quite a bit about it, and the history of astrology.

Ive never saw any future prediction from astrologer which would actually come true (or which would be published before the "prediction" actually occured :D), so this really cant be my belief..
    Anyway, we will see ;)

    Doubt it.

I don't believe the Mayans ever predicted any cataclysmic event that ends all life on Earth as we know it.

How do we know if, their calendar did not simply......end, like ours do every year..

    srsly?
    wut dumshi.t believes in 2012

what dumb**** doesnt believe in 2012?
    see how that works?
its not about believing in it, you dont have too if you dont want too, but no need to call names on others beliefs.. that said, if the incident supposedly happening in 2012 happens, you probably wont live, because you will be one of the oblivious ones who stays at home and doesnt believe anything is going to happen.. all i know is, something is going to happen, may not be that bad though.. says mankind will change, not we will all perish to never see mankind again.
anyways, ill be prepared along with all the other believers.

you should research the mayan calender a bit more, their calendar spanned over years and years, hense the year of 2012..why would they make a calendar with events based off astrology, and end it in 2012 during the galactic alignment (which the galactic alignment is going to happen) and guess what, the mayan calendar happens to end on the day the alignment is 100% aligned. according to astrologers, and scientists now.
and yes if it does align, the magnetic pull will be flipped around in turn pulling debris and heat towards earth. and this heat is going to cause the polar ice caps to melt rapidly they say 1/3 of the ice caps can melt and flood half the world.. and no it wont be like el nino heat, it will be unbearable amounts of heat

The alignment is going to happen either way..
if you choose to believe that when this alignment occurs, nothing will happen. thats on you.

if you choose to believe that when this alignment occurs, we are going to have a very tragic event, possibly wiping 1-99% of mankind.. something is going to happen at the end of 2012
whether it be a small worldwide tragedy, or a huge tragedy. either way "mankind will change" as written

thats because you probably dont read anything about astrology, go pick up the book of nostradamas... read all his predictions, 99% of them have come true this far. and even though not all astrologers have believed his predictions, ALL astrologers believe in the 2012 event.
  • I'm not trying to change anyones mind, but you cant just say "I DONT BELIEVE IN THAT" if you havent a clue what astrology is, and have no research or history of it.
if you want a debate, I will debate with you about it.. but learn more about it before you say anything else.

This is actually incorrect. The Mayans did not predict the end of the world, they simply predicted the galactic alignment. December 21st, 2012 is simply the end of the Mesoamerican (Mayan) Long Calendar, in the same way that December 31st is the end of our own calendar. The doomsday prophecy was originally that Nibiru (a mythical thirteenth planet) would crash into the Earth. Since Nibiru doesn't exist, that's probably not going to happen. Also, the original prophecy was supposed to resolve in 2003, but didn't. NASA wrote a good explanation here.
