Noah's Ark Found? Wut?

It could be.
I mean I don't believe in a god, but there's evidence that Jesus was an actual person isn't there?
So there could very well be a Noah's Ark.
No one (with common sense) denies the existence of Jesus. No need for your redundancy.
Jesus was real, whether he was the son of God is debatable and won't be answered on these pathetic forums. Using Jesus as proof that there "could very well be a Noah's Ark" is really not a legitimate form of proof or logic. Thanks for trying.aimoperative wrote: »u know....i faced off an atheist at a blogging site once, not the nicest but i've always wanted to debate. and ur using the same argument he used....interesting is it not?
Atheists are powered by logic. (perceived or actual)
In this case, the same logic is being used because... it's logical.
Ever think of that one? Get a real arguement please, true "debates" are not meant to question the opposing "teams" style or train of thought, they are meant to prove your point and validate your opinions.it's just the claims they make and the freedom they remove.
When abused perhaps. I personally find faith to be liberating. We stand on the opposite sides of the spectrum however, so it is reasonable that I don't understand your logic in this case. God is the Self-Existent One—the great “I Am” of the Bible. He is outside time; in fact, He created time. Think about it this way: everything that has a beginning requires a cause. The universe has a beginning and therefore requires a cause. But God has no beginning since He is beyond time. So God does not need a cause. There is nothing illogical about an eternal Being who has always existed even though it might be difficult to fully understand.

it's unbelievable how the Bible itself has so much confidence.. i have not read any words that says "i think", it's, this will happen and this will happen, and it's coming true.
Predict a vague enough statement anything can come true.

At least you didn't mispell it "holeness".
And yes I can believe in the bible, yet reject certain aspects.
It was not written by God, it was written by man, who is imperfect. Even more it was written by multiple men. It was also not written at the same time.
If we are looking for discrepancies, it was not even written in English. The bible we use today was translated from Hebrew to Greek, then from Greek to English. Go to a translator site and translate from English to german, then german to french, then french to English. The statement will be unfamiliar. -
yea, well, the Bible is confidence about the future, it's written down as this WILL happen, unlike other false theories *cough* april 27, doomsday*, surprisingly, it's coming true.iiiTwAsLucK wrote: »Belief gives reassurance and confidence. Alright, well seeing as how the only person who knows as much on the big bang theory appears to be you (who said you wouldn't post) I felt simplifying it was necessary. No offense intended. The big bang theory is still a theory, yet it has not yet been disproven so the scientific community regards it as a fact. In fact, the school of Biology is based mainly off the assumption that the big bang did in fact occur, and that life has been evolving slowly ever since that day. In my haste to address so many points and correct the mistyping of others I was blinded by my own beliefs and arrogance so I do apologize to you Lulzwut. I meant not to belittle the big bang, as you seek not to belittle creationism. I was merely trying to place it on the same terms that others were using.
"If you want to be Christian you can't half ass it either"
I'm a Christian I suppose. But at one time Christians were Catholics. Religion grows and changes as society does. Reformation constantly occurs, and I would prefer if labels were removed. I believe in Jesus as the messiah and savour, and that God is the supreme being. I don't believe that 2 of every animal on earth were put on a giant boat.
As for Jesus existing, the bible obviously states that he was there, so naturally Christians will believe he existed. However, Jews and Muslims also believe that he existed. In the Islamic faith Jesus is viewed as a great profit, though not the son of God. Sure this is not scientific or archeological proof, but it seems highly significant that he is included in the Koran.
You are right, I haven't tried being a Muslim, or a Jew, or a buddhist, or any other religion. I've tried and stuck with Christianity because that is what my heart tells me to do. (don't pull a "think with your mind, not your heart" on me).
You're right. I don't know every single story in the bible. For me it's not necessary. I believe in what I believe.
You said you wouldn't post, but I'm glad you did. You make some excellent point, and keep me in check. Thanks.

Same goes for Cclebi who perhaps posted the most dumb things on this thread and made the religious people sound weak. Not the case, some of the best men and women this world has ever seen are religious. Do some research. -

Thanks.
Edit: This is the Lulzwut I fell in love with. Oh how easily passion fades.
Thank you for clearing that up, and don't think for a moment I don't respect you, I may think you're beliefs are silly but I see you put thought into it and that's more than most of the people can say. You're the sugar to my spice babe and I love you <3333 See we can all get a long amirite?
