We don't need another Scar... And the Tar21, M4A1, AWM XM8 are all modern riflles. Kriss, and MP7 are modern too.

um yeah... anyway... guns look like the SCAR nowadays because it's a visually-appealing and efficient shape that can support most rifle calibers up to 7.62X51mm NATO.

plus, it's small and compact, lowering weight and therefore enabling soldiers to fight longer

Just because there is a system for universal attachments on the top of the gun doesnt make it similar to another gun. dont be like "OMGWTFBBQ look @ tihs lololol it l0oks just liek teh other gun i once saw! i plai compootahgaemz XDDD"
