CF Mods: Not The People They are Supposed To...

You would think the CF Mods would hold up to the zero tolerance rules right? Do the right things and set examples for other players to play fairly and fun correct? However, it has come to my attention that there are those amongst the Mods that are not such.

Churche of the CF Mods is a glitcher.

I have a replay, numerous screenshots and numerous witnesses to place them at the scene to prove such. They didn't do it once in that game, but they did it several times at least. When confronting kindly to Churche that glitching is against the rules for -everyone-, they continued to do so. Later giving me the excuse they were taking screenshots for the forums. Knowing this was total BS to begin with as we all know posting glitches on a forum is against the rules. They didn't seem to fear me going out to reporting such saying it would never get past administration, seeming to take pride that they were invulnerable behind their clan tag.

THIS IS NOT what CF Mods are supposed to stand for. Everything else has a zero tolerance and why should they be any exception? Not only did they seem to lie about what their intention was (as i don't see any glitches posted here), but they did so in a PUBLIC game. Clearly that was their intention. And not just any simple glitch either, they decided to do one that no one else had been using yet. Doing so in plain view teaching others.

If it is not dealt with, then not only is CF Mods reputation soiled for good, but I will post this evidence on the forums until something is done about it regardless if it gets me banned. And if so, wheres the justice in that? Especially if nothing is done about it afterward. Only means the mods here are corrupt, so best choose wisely.

Oh and I'd love to hear comments from the community about our so called 'moderators'.

  • If you have anything to say/report about any mods then send a PM to [GM]Saidin.
While I think I should lock this, I'm going to leave it open for now. Shoot me a PM also if you would like my thoughts on things but for now I'm off to bed.

Don't let this get out of hand or infractions will be given.

Cant say im suprised by this and i woudn't say the mods are that great but wat you expect it is free game after all.

    Decent Mods:
    dot + Rex + BlindRob :)

Free game or not, a mod is supposed to respect the rules even more so than the common player.
The logical course of action for the GM's is to standard ban for 3 days for glitching and retract his Mod status, as long as the replay is sent in.
If the Mods start to do things like this then the game will end up more chaotic than it already is.
  • They're not all bad, 1 action shouldn't kill the reputation of all mods
they try their best and there is only a handful of them trying to deal with a whole game community
    it isn't easy lol
but as you say Mod's should enforce and obey the rules
    thats my 2 cents ^_^
  • send me the replay please :P

churche is a nice guy.... you make him sound like a heartless kis who just killed your grandmother

Unless your a mod, your not getting the replay, sorry.
I never said he wasn't a bad guy (though his first impression definitely wasn't that good), but the fact he disobeyed conduct and blew me off was rather uncool. I assume he never expected me to do direct confrontation like this.
  • later on go onto the IRC

Churche will most likely be there along with a few others. speak to him there rather than post it on the forums
and like Blindrob said, any complains about Mod's that you have has to go to Saidin

Is this when Churche and others were playing a M.M match and they stacked over each other?

If I remember correctly that room was passworded

Sadly don't go on IRC's, got plenty of other means of communication. Personally, I don't have anything really to say to him. Like any other glitcher, hacker or abuser I see, its a simple PS, save and report. This one is a little different however just because of the ladder of administration.

lol, way ahead of ya, already sent the awesome guy the note. a shame i even had to do such, would have been much easier if he hadn't disobeyed the rules in the first place.
  • And why is that? I wasnt glitching, nor did I see Churche glitching as I joined at the 15th round :P

    Indeed it was.
If I remember correctly that room was passworded
Clearly it was not, and even when they were supposed to notice the swarms of players their actions did not cease.

Don't know what callsign you were using so I can't exactly vouch for your presence. But it did indeed happen.
  • MODs are humans. Of course they should give the example to the common players, but sometimes they want some fun doing forbidden things. I'm sure that was just a once.
  • jesus-facepalm-facepalm-jesus-epic-demotivational-poster-1218659828.jpg

    stacking isnt glitching.

all you have to do is take out the bottom one and then theyll just continue taking them all out.

So... It'd be okay for people to hack just once? Glitch for the fun of it? Not what this game is about. If they wanna do so, they should do it on their own rooms secured. Not ruining everyone's time with their cheapness. Respectable mods wouldn't do so to begin with, but the others could at least have the decency of keeping it to themselves, no doubt their foolish actions will cause yet another set of glitches I, and other players now have to worry about.

Then I don't see why you are complaining, because stacking is not considered a glitch yet.

the method in which they were stacking is indeed a glitch, as it was not intended by the coders for such. As if I remember thats what glitching is. Stack high enough, no one can touch you. Unfair disadvantage for others, is it not?

Report everyone who was involved as well, why only Churche?

If I recall correctly the room was made to do that, and everyone there participated.

Not everyone was involved in the glitchfest, some of us played. Indeed there were a few others that followed Churche's example, as him and a fellow player attempted to do so in the middle of the level, so it was no surprise they wanted to try it too. They will be reported like anyone else in the replays.

youll just keep falling down if the bottom keeps being taken out

if stacking is a glitch then the devs wouldnt have put it in in the first place.
unless he was stacking to get to a place that a mutant cannot such as a high ledge or to jump over a wall etc. then he wasnt glitching... just merely taking an advantage of whats in the game

and wasnt churche trying to build the highest stack ever?

The method of their 'stacking' wasn't done with numerous players in a group like some cool pyramid. No... It was two people rising above what would be normally possible with a glitch they exploited. There were no additional people needed for what they did.

Ohh I wasnt there then, I thought you were talking about the pyramid stack we were trying to do, biggest stack ever :D passworded room of course

2 people can hardly be considered glitching.

thats what i thought it was too xD

If you saw what it was, you'd know it was a glitch. Besides, we all know it only takes 1 person to glitch to ruin a game.

otherwise people are going to consider this stupid.
  • I've seen 2 people glitch...they did some weird thing where they ran up to eachother and..well cant say the rest as people would try :P

That would be the one my dear sir.
  • The only decent moderators left on these forums are:
BlindRob, Rex, and DeadEye. Dot is cool too :p
