Problem with HD5750 Low fps

well this is my problem on CF:
i got 20-30 fps but i dont know why

my pc:
Processor: Pentium D 3.00 ghz
Ram: 4gb GDDR2
Graphics: Ati Radeon HD 5750 1gb GDDR5
19" LCD monitor max resolution 1360*768
OS: Windows 7 home premium x86

i can run Call of duty modern warfare 2 full graphics (1360*768) and i got 100-150 fps
and Battle field bad company 2 full graphics (1360*768) and i got 70-120 fps

can someone help me?

on my old graphic card (geforce 9400gt 512mb GDDR2) i got like 60-100 fps on the same os and the same ram and processor.

dam son u still on pentium d processor? spend some dollar and get them quad core. anyways just restart ur pc and it'll be fine.

I have same problem, but my fps drops to around 5-10 randomly and goes back up to 70s for like 10 seconds again. -_-" It never happened before so i dont know what to do

i dont care about the processor cuz i dont play many games or something just CF, COD6 and BF...

now can anyone help me with my problem?

Do you have a lot of background process running? Cause your specs are better then mine yet my system produces better standards on Crossfire then you do.
