Not all users must uninstall IE completely. Just remove IE7/8/9. Xtrap its working fine with IE6.
It's help for 100% of my clan members and many other players. If You uninstall IE until version 6 this must work.
But...
1st time when I try fix it. I must remove IE completely from Windows Components.

to come back to internet explorer 6 seems to work
but if you can't for some reason(sp3 =you cant uninstall ie7 or 8 stimes)
i had a free partition on my hdd:
_install windows 7 64 bit absolute on free partition
_find drivers
_install antivirus
_update windows and your language pack
_install crossfire
then when you wanna play just choose windows 7 OS on multiboot choice and have fun with an ultra light OS only for cross fire ^^
i did it it's ok
dont forget to reload ur gun ^^

voici ce que j'ai fait
_prenez une partition libre de vos disques dur
_installez windows7 64 ultimate dessus
_installez les drivers son et autre
_installez l'antivirus
_allez sur windows update dans le menu demarrer et mettez a jour (pensez au pack francais en meme temps dans les mises a jour facultatives)
_installez crossfire
_nikel ca remarche ^^!
et au multiboot au lancement de windows , si vous voulez jouer ,vous choisissez windows 7
le truc cool c'est que vous avez un OS dedié au jeu donc bien leger et rapide en plus .
ça marche , je viens de le faire hier soir

moi jai windows XP pis jai enlever internet explorer apres jai insaller firefox pis apres jai désinstaller crossfire pis je lai installer de nouveaux mais sa marche pas peu tu maider -
non non non et encore non ! je sais qu'on doit parler anglais mais je n'y arrive pas . Il faut desinstaler cross fire , instaler firfox et le mettre EN PRIORITAIRE . Apres vous retelecharger cross fire et pour moi sa a marcher et mon ordi est un model de 2002 encore sous xp !!

Je retire ce que j'ai dit hier , aujourd'hui sa ne marche deja plus mais bordel plein de gens se plaifne de se xtrap de mes deux , et en plus il n'empeche pas les hakeurs !! non mais il faut etre con pour le garder , vous ete en train de perde du peuple , beaucoup de peuple !!
Non mes remetet l'ancien antihak il etait mieux . Je compte lencer une petision pour enlever xtrap -

bonne chance avec ta petition les mods comprenne pas le francais du con et justement ecrit en anglais si tu veux qu'ils te comprenne et t'aide de plus toute les solution poster ici marche une fois sur 30 pour certaine personne et certaine autre sa marcheras juste jamais donc sois tu cherche ailleurs sois tu ecrit au mods pour de l'aide (patience est de mise dans se cas la) -
Patiense ???!!!!???? sa fait 2 mois que je peut pas jouer a cf et c'est pas de ma fote si ils ont eut cette putain d'idee de mettre ce xtrap de mes couilles !!! quesque qu'il s attendt pour le virer , sa bloque du peuple et pas les hakeurs ! Remetait l'ancien ou un nouvo qui ne bloque pas quasiment tout le monde !!!!!!

i have BitDefender 2010 and it says times out waiting for initialing x-trap and also code error that this game module is not running properly and i tried everything? need soome help
Hi, I also have BitDefender 2010 and I had this problem the solution is to set BitDefender to Game Mode this will set it to permissive and it should let you play again, this may also work with other Anti-Virus programs that have this Game Mode setting. -

For beginning, i had this problem in the past and now i can play to crossfire because... ^^
1. I reformat my computer then i download again Crossfire game. After, i tried to play it and... the game opened but i had a new error... it was Init. Renderer... Therefore i reinstall my driver card and download DirectX 11... and i had not this error again so directly i tried to play in a room(gameplay)... Thereafter i had this error..<Do you want to send error?>
> the solution of this error is to adjust the graphic in fonction of your computer(option)
Now i can play =D!!!

i think that the problem is the next:
your computer has virus or think like this that prevent u to play Crossfire game. Therefore if u reformat your computer... u should get an anti-virus directly after u reformat it... U won't have Virus so you will probably be accepted by Xtrap -

i did eveything like downgrading it and uninstalling IE but nothing happened I have NOD32 and i just bought a new computer so i dont know what to do crossfire worked fine in my earlier computer but now >.> help anyoneOkay suddenly Im getting this problem.. I downgraded from IE 8 to IE 7. Still cannot play. -.-

I think it`s not IE problem and not Z8 only, cause russian version has the same problem.
Before this patch I`ve played both on XP sp3 with IE8 installed.
Unfourtunatly all issues listed above didn`t help me this time. Our russian technical support hasn`t answerd me 4 days already!
All we left to do is wait, or play another games of rival companies!
