Rpk-camo vs M60-adv
sooo. the m60 adv has 40 more ammo. i heard the rpk camo has a tad bit more power. If I say that I think normal m60= normal rpk. In my eyes m60-adv > rpk camo cuz it doesnt just have 20 more ammo, but now 40!!. how's the increased power at the rpk camo? Im talking mainly about mutation mode, a bit less about ghost mode and maybe as a fun gun in scrims for SnD lol.

I seldom play MM or GM. But in TDM, I have tried both, RPK can still make a lot of headshots over mid range if you are familiar with AK-series only do 3 bursts. With M60, nope, it is heavier, you move slower, even ROF is higher than RPK but not many bullets actually hit their targets, point blank M60 is better than RPK, but longer than 20 feet, in TDM RPK is still superior to M60.
The thing here is: using an RPK, if you cannot kill a guy who is crouching and shooting at you for 10 rounds, you have to move away or you're killed by rifle/smg users. -
Lets be honest, either are best for MM and only alright (at best) for "fun" on other modes.
That being said, I have both regulars. And while I love the RPK's sound (Soooo hawt) and feel, the M60 is just better for MM camping.
Sure, the RPK's light weight helps when you're on the move, but securing a safe spot is totally the M60's win. Just manage the recoil well and you can easily hold off 2-3 mutants charging , stack MG's and your impossible to get (as long as you control your ammo). -
The regular M60 is probably superior to the regular RPK since you have enough firepower to kill basically any zombie, not just the newly transformed ones. RPK Camo is probably the better ZP weapon because it has better recoil/spray while still having enough bullets to mow down any mutant.

Lets assume both are in the hands of a good player that doesn't spray and can aim.
First off, M60's obvious advantage is ammo while RPK is weight and recoil.
(I've tested accuracy on both, can't say there's huge difference tbh)
Second, since the OP stated this was for MM, lets set the scenario to that.
Lastly, I tested regular M60 vs PRK with a friend in MM for damage, both did 130-140 damage per HS. Haven't had the chance to try the ADV or Camo for damage.
IMO the greatest thing to look for in MM is a guns damage potencial, or the total damage the gun can inflict. Look at it this way: If we give the RPK a huge advantage in damage and state that each bullet will d0 200 per HS compared to 150 on the M60 (hypothetical numbers), we'd be looking at:
RPK: 220x200= 44000
M60 300x150= 45000
Important things to note:
1. The difference in damage sure as hell isn't that great (150 to 200).
2. The more ammo you have(i.e Extra clip, MM mag) the greater the gap will be for potential damages.
That being said, RPK has alot of pluses on manuverability. Overall, it depends on MM playstyle. If you camp/can control the recoil, go with the M60-Adv and if you move alot/spray like crazy, go with the RPK.
P.S: Sry for the wallotext

okay, I just don't understand ur note nr 1. First of all, m60 deals a tad bit more damage than m60, but let's assume they both deal 150 damage every headshot. U'll get (2x100)x150 for the m60 is 30000
(2x80)x150 for the rpk is 24000
that's a damage difference of 20%? -
Simply put, that equation is basically if every shot hits. So yea, if you can control the gun and make sure your bullets actually hit, you'd be dealing way more damage with the M60 regardless of the small difference in per-bullet damage.okay, I just don't understand ur note nr 1. how does damage matter when the bullets dont hit
spray an rpk and drag down to the bottom on the ramp in a site post mm u can get like 400 dmg and its not very hard- spraying a mutant at close range u can kill a spawned mutant in 40 bullets if u aim for head which u cant do with m60
m60 can only shoot like 2 bullets b4 its recoil is way off thats y to do good with m60 in any other mode u pea shoot for head or play in egypt and prefire everywhere LOL -

RPK has less recoil.
M60 has a spray that is easy to control.
Know the difference.
Also, BlindRob has already proven it's a "Sniper in disguise".

To be honest RPK Camo is better because it can be used in M.M. because of its high ammo capacity, G.M. because of its light weight, and T.D. because of its high power and low recoil (comparing to M60). You can even use it in S.D. to spray. M60 ADV cannot achieve these except that it is more suitable for M.M., and I think RPK CAMO is more worthy.
