haha, no ceiling's is a sick album.
Everyone who is calling out artists and such needs to chill.. we all have our own opinions so there's no point saying one artist is bad and the other is good.
Btw, Lil wayne has millions of followers so to say he's bad... its kind of a joke

Waiting for people to realize it's an awful music genre that I actually used to be part of, those days have long gone, as I've grown up... many others didn't.
Try playing guitar/drums, that's REAL talent. -

I used to play bass guitar.
It's not an awful genre though just because you don't like it.
Some of the music may have negative lyrics, but what genre's don't have negative lyrics?
Some people prefer Rock or Metal to rap as well (I listen to all three), but many who don't listen to rock or metal don't see the talent in yelling, screaming, etc. -

It's not that I don't like that particular genre, I still listen to some aspects, it's more the whole grown men dissing each other kinda thing, gets abit old tbh.
I can admire the lyrical genius that goes into alot of the songs, such as, well, ALOT of Eminem's songs, and yeah I've heard some Lil Wayne's music that I like (I downloaded his 5th album).

You have a valid reason.
Eminem does however diss other artists too (although some of his reasoning is more meaningful, like when Ja Rule mentioned his daughter).
I know bass is generally easy though.
Look up Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers though and tell me the stuff he does is easy!

Na I couldn't say that tbh, since it was once an industry I loved, and we change overtime, but I still have it involved in my life to a certain extent.

All music is just practice, and to say one thing is harder then the other not true at all. Drum and Rap is to complete different things. Please use some logic and common sense before you talk. -

Get used to it and grow some thicker skin. If you want the world to be nice to you, you best crawl back under your mommy's skirt, cause the world doesn't do JUST nice. The world is a harsh place where people with different tastes tend to disagree with you sometimes. Its called freedom of speech, and this includes the freedom to have critic on other people's taste in music. So suck it up and grow a pair.

Lolli, you're not looking at the big picture.
Majority of these people give little to no reason why they think he sucks or why rap sucks in general.
For example, the Einstein that posted above me.
If you have a valid reason as to why you dislike his music or the genre then so be it, but just flat out saying "that sucks" is ignorant. -

Okay first Lil wayne is just a joke too me. Loliroger seems to have similar tastes too me. I'm a classic rock/metal head. However I listen to everything and hip hop is one of my favorite genre's and Lil wayne is simply pop rap. If 13 year old girls like it, I don't. Check out the old stuff, Big L, Notorious BIG, Tupac, Bone thugs and harmony, Wu tang, Run dmc, Pharcyde, KRS, A tribe called quest, Nas, Pitch black, MOP, Dre. All of these listed are the cream of the crop there's a lot of good hip hop out there you just have to scratch the surface a bit to find it.
