XM8 all the way, way more versatile, accurate, low recoil, 100% wallbang, and a red dot sight.

get the aug if you love it in crossroads... otherwise, go futuristic with the XM

i would have to say xm8 but didnt know it might be getting nerfed why tho makes no sense?

AUG.

It's more accurate, the zoom is better, the zoom is less impeding (no rifle body in your face), it has a similar ROF, less recoil, and a better spray pattern.

The XM-8 is more powerful and a little faster but I'd treat it like an M4 with a reticle instead of a med-long range scoped rifle.

Compared to the G36 the XM-8 wins. It is hard to compare it to a rifle outside of it's catagory, though (AUG groups with SG550 and M16 scope).
