p228 vs colt
I searched it and only found about 5 threads that really didn't answer anything.
Are they both 1HKO in the head? I know Colt is.
Which would be better for m700?
Which would be better for ak47?
I saw that p228 has a faster firing rate, but I played with a colt and it seemed like colt is faster AND stronger.
Thanks~

p228 > colt911
p228 more bullets faster firing, when walking the crosshier dont get bigger (use 3rd/C type of crosshier and point the dot at head and just wall left and right and shot soo much headshots i get ace with this gun + deagle.) faster firing. colt911 has a cooler name (my name has 911 in it 2! --- icalled911 + ucalled911 -- and my clan name is 911 ) p288 is more worth it. better for everymatch! -
at first i didnt know that colt was 1 hit headshot, but i confirmed it...
though it is only 1 hit head shot from about 15 ft away, which isnt very great
imagine TDM ship, its not a one shot headshot from one side to the other (width)
any further and its gonna start doing 80's 70's 60's etc
go with p228 simply cuz of ammo duration, the colts 7 rounds doesnt last very long -
As many have said so far, take the P228. The Colt is basically a scaled down version of the Deagle. It fires faster and has decent accuracy, but the P228 has a much larger clip and hits just as hard. The only definite advantage the Colt has over the P228 is firing at longer ranges, but if you're going to be doing that you may as well just use your primary.

Go with the P228, it is a crazy good gun, fast rof, great accuracy, 1 shot HS, reloads quick. light weight and if your playing a game such as GM that requires having low vol guns, the p228 wins out, wish they would come out with a p228 camo, that would be epic coolness.

Go with the P228 as this is the weapon that seems most popular as a starter gun. But switch to a DE as soon as you can, or go right for it. DE are by far the best way to go. I use just about all the pistols so Ive learned them all.

But his question was between the Colt and P228, so to keep on topic, you must suggest either gun, not a completely different sidearm. -
Well I play the P228 really weird. I literally spam at the head, and the larger clip allows for this.
It's really effective when I get the crosshair positioning right.
its easy to aim with p228 colt is hard a bit but p228 is op against colt -

Not true. Many guns I have never been able to 1-shot for 100% with. The M9, Glock, MP5, and UZI are such guns among probably others.
Not to mention that many weapons' power diminishes with distance, some quicker than others. Usually, the more powerful weapons will travel farther and do the same damage. The 1911 is such a weapon, and at longer ranges it will always beat the P228, M9, and Glock.
As for the P228 vs the 1911, I'll always take firepower over ammo capacity.
You don't need the whole 12 shots if you can drop the person in a few bullets. The P228 can only do this if you are a very good shot. The 1911 is powerful enough to quickly drop someone even if you get some arm shots.
The P228 claims more accuracy, but the crosshair is bigger making it harder to aim. I've seen both shoot equally as accurate on the bench.
The 1911 has a higher rate of fire, and the reload rate is quicker. The 1911 also has one of the quickest draws of any handgun, and is faster than the P228.
My first gun purchase playing since Beta was the 1911, and I haven't looked back on it.
I'd frequently use just that by itself and win.
I've since gotten a pair of Deagles, but I still own and use my 1911. More often I use it in pistols only rooms, but I'll bring it as a sidearm in full weapon rooms often enough.
I'll take on people claiming to be P228/M9/Glock "masters" and come out on top... But then again I take on SCAR-L "masters" with a Deagle and come out on top :P
And as always, I am a firm supporter of mental boost from disadvantage. Fewer shots per magazine or a slower ROF when compared to other guns will make you more accurate and more effective at movement, shot placement, and threat detection (attacking the person who is the most dangerous, not just who is the closest to you).
My second purchase in the game was a Deagle and I used only that for the longest time. When I finally got an AK-47, I was instant own with it since I was so accurate and now had a fast firing weapon capable of longer ranges.
So the 1911 will not only be a better pistol for you to use, it will also make you a better player...
