No I think i know the answer. Either it is shopped which I doubt or he joined the game after he got the kill and you only see the killer and not the killed.

I've only seen that happen when just joining a game (either it shows just the weapon icons or who killed and how but not who got killed), but it only displays kills that happened when I was in the loading screen. As soon as I get in game it displays the full messages...

So once the person leaves the game no longer has any data concerning their name? Do you still get the kill, or is it just wasted ammo?
