is anyone else having a prop since the new updates with shutting down i have restored my laptop cause i was having a prop with shutting down after playing crossfire so i reinstalled it and i am still having the same prop i cant shut down my comp someone pls help i dont know what to do thanks

Its not a familiar problem I doubt it come from Crossfire.. might Xtrap still running but that wont make your computer not shutting down.

if you uninstall CF, is your computer shutting down correctly?

ive done factory restore, and everything was fine til i played crossfire then my computer wont shut down

When you exit the game, can you go on your taskmanager? (ctrl+alt+delete) to see if theres any process of CF still running?

yes i can and yes it is running under process, not in applications. can i end process in there? im going to load crossfire now then exit the game and see if i end process if my computer will shut down.

well that didnt work, i tried to end process and my computer went to blue screen then it shut down bt it self, restarted and i had to start it normaly, then i loaded crossfire again played a game logged off and still cant shut down. i appricate you trying to help me.

i dont think its good for my laptop to just hold button down to turn it off, do you?

In long terms.. no its not good.

What you should do is;

Right click on CF, run as administrator and then play a bit and exit the game and try to turn off the computer.

Second thing would be; right click on CF, go to properties,Compatibility Mode and choose Windows XP

Try that!
