...which is probably why they should be anticipating errors after launching a new patch and be in 'bug squashing mode'. Not only that, but I haven't even seen this acknowledged as an issue by the mods, so... who knows?

Dude they know what is the problem but ...............no words.I waste a lot of money in this game and now i cant play anymore.

Re-installing the game will not fix the connection its must be something to do with there servers or summin like that they've not replied to a singal thread about this issue.

I just tried it, sorry, no worky.
I set it to quality low, which puts the settings to what you show there, still got the map error/dc.

Solution to the problem

I have been having the same problem for 5 days,and the problem seems to be caused by mcaffe antivirus program,so what i did was that I uninstalled the mcaffe antivirus and installed some other antivirus e.g AVG or Bitdefender
After that the problem was resolved
Guess something from mcaffe was blocking the game to function normally.
If u guys are using the mcaffe its 100% solution to the problem.

Wireless or Lan cable?

Wireless
If your using wireless to connect to the internet, your wireless will get a "glitch" and disconnect you from the network..

Your computer will not show you have disconnected from the internet..But you will lose connection will the CrossFire Servers which will disconnect you from the game..

Lan Cable
I recommend you trying connecting to your router with a Lan Cable, You won't disconnect from the internet so much and you will find you won't get kicked out of the game from losing connection with the servers..

I've seen no correlation in how quickly it happens and how many people I see logged onto a server. I've had it happen consistently since the patch, both when bravo was almost empty, and when it was near full. I don't mean to pretend to know how they spread the load out across their hardware, but there are obvious busy times and slow times, and it happens during both.


This is obviously a bug in the patch. Though it may be possible we can do something on our end to prevent triggering this bug, it doesn't seem likely. I think it's safe to say we can all stop trying to uninstall this or that, or change this or that setting, and just wait for someone to acknowledge the issue and get it fixed.
