yeah i think it is very nice. but better the other way. lol

Lighting is a little iffy,
text is bad.
and a little oversharpened in places.

other than that, looks like a decent piece of work ^^

think of it like natural lighting:
in this case you should have more light on the top of the focal because the light source is above.
so you should use a white soft brush, 30-ish pixels, brush up on lighten or use the dodge tool. on parts that should be lighter. For instance, the arm is really dark, when it should be lighter because of the light.

and yeah, sig = signature. you can sign yourself anyway you want, so why can't you express yourself in art with a longer than wide signature?

signature is the poster's decision.
therefore they aren't limited to wider pixels over longer pixels.

text is just something you get better with time and experience.
it becomes artist's intuition after a while.

but for now, just read some typo tutorials and stuff.
i could never get typography to look great myself, so usually I would just not put any text in.

No sig is always longer than it is wide, Sig's P3NIS is always longer than wide.
