Question on Anaconda

Is it just me or are both anacondas really silent at close range? I don't notice a conda user till there are really close by while I can hear deagle users from a mile away. I've also noticed when I'm shooting at people some of them don't notice me :P so are they silent from a distance or is it just me?

Could possibly be that the anaconda is a quiet pistol. Not sure, someone should test it out.

It's a semi-loud "popping" noise in real life, it's silent for everyone in the game pretty much

You can hear the anaconda from a really far distance.....
But up close, it's not very loud.
