Controlling the AK's Recoil when Full on Spraying

Aim at the chest, the recoil will make the bullets go higher and there you go... a Head Shot.

do you mean spray from their legs or spray from the head and move down to the legs?

Some aim low and let the recoil jump up.

I aim chest and above and pull down. After a few shots the recoil should settle and the spread can allow a head-height horizontal spray.

I played with malte yesterday. HE was buzzed and still kicked my ass. I cried all day knowing that however much CF i play, i'll never even get half as good as malte. QQ

Anyways. on topic:
I personally prefer bursting close to mid range. First shot goes head level while my recoil control pulls the spray at their chest level.

watch this, he shoots at there head and slowly lowering the gun, sometimes lower then there feet.
its becuz ak shoots high. i use ak in mutation, cuz once u get down the recoil u can aim at the ground and perfectly shoot mutants. ak is great once u figure out the recoil.

The AK in CF is much easier to handle than in other FPS games...and I have a feeling they lowered the vertical recoil in the patch. I only spray when I know most of the shots will be to the body, because the horizontal recoil of AK is easy to handle if you just compensate with your mouse.

First 3 shots go for chest / head,

After that the recoil kicks in and the bullets start to hit about 1 inch above on your screen than previously.

The magic of the gun is that YES, the range of recoil is intense, but after those 3 first shots, all the rest go in the same place.

How to handle it?

Look at the floor when you shoot, about 30 degrees angle, all the following bullets will be in a nice straight line which wavers, left, right, left, up slightly.


Learn how to control that line of angled recoil bullets and your in for a winner.

If you have low ping like Malte from Canada or me in the UK server, you will find that you can destroy entire teams with relatively little effort.
