X-trap error please help!

I recently downloaded the new patch for crossfire but when i went and hit start game as it was loading X-Trap says "The access to X-Trap Patch server is unstable or X-Trap update wasn't able to run properly". I don't know what to do. has anyone had this problem or knows how to fix it? i have already tried re downloading the game but the same message come ups.
