Vote limit per hour/day?
Your thoughts on limiting the ability of a player to start a kik vote per hour or day?
I'm pretty sure noobs try to kik someone in every game they join.
Also that they do it very often; say for instance starting the kik vote 10 times in say a 2 hour period or 40 times every day.
Obviously z8 should know roughly how often a person is likely to encounter a hacker in say a day and therefore limit the ability to start a kik vote to that amount of kik votes.
Maybe then noobs would use their ability to kik more wisely.

if you played through the whole match and its like 12-12, u should have 2-3 kicks -
And has anyone ever encounter this:
A new player has just joined the game (you do not know him her, you have no argument before hand etc)
And the immediately put you up for vote like 5 secs after they join?
I seen this happen to others too, maybe limiting the voting further until they have at least actually 'got their beating' as to what is happening in the game and have actually watched the game play? -

Ya that happened b4, it failed and then he left and came back and tried to kick again... -

Even when I make my own room I get kiked (sobs), some snotty kid obviously voted me off because he said "bye" before the kik vote notification telling me that I'm kiked, I lost ace and had played many rounds, so I came back on a alt account to the same room later on and got him kiked (by then he was ace) and regained host status, then he was whispering me raging lol
The weapons of proper CF gamers are anything in the 'item shop' or 'crates', noobs weapon 'kik vote' pure ownage. -

hmm u already post in 1 of my thread with this " Kick Vote " ... Kick vote must be deleted right now ! or when u leave the game be no penalty ... if I have 20 - 4 the idiot sistem descrease my Kills with 20 and reach the Deaths with 20 ... dumb sistem -
hmm, no? no thanks? ummmm...they cant estimate or guess the time a hacker would come..it is IMPOSSIBLE..if they made this..hackers will attempt to hack every other hour or something knowing that some people cant kick...soo yea, vote kick is fine as it is..it gets abused in every game anyway..

The point is hackers do not come and yet people still think kicking is a viable option to their problems of not being skilled and capable of defeating an opponent through the mechanics of the game so they feel it necessary to do so through the aforementioned kicking system. Which if you care to argue is part of the game's mechanics, it is not, it is part of the options menu which also involves leaving the game and setting video resolutions therefore breaking the 4th wall.

Purity, if you're not offering a complete rehaul of the kick system (that would actually work, and isn't just you bawwwing about being kicked for the 125500246th time), shut the hell up and stop whining.
The kick system is fine as it is imo, I get kicked every few games because I'm good at pinpointing, I move on and play another game. Limiting vote kicks will only increase hackers and make the game worse.
About limited kicking, this already exists in-game. It's called 'Limited vote', although I agree that they need to fix it so you can't keep re-joining a game to kick someone repeatedly. -

Let me put the idea in simple terms:
Nobody sees 20 hackers a day so, limited the kik voting ability to 20 kiks per day for each player (noobs proberly kik 100 times a day, would save a lot of sh1t no?)
or
Nobody sees 4 hackers an hour so, limited the kik voting ability to 4 kiks per hour for each player (noobs proberly kik 10 times an hour, would save a lot of sh1t no?)
Lets guess...
Some argument will be put forth against this idea to enable noobs to keep kiking, the argument will be along the lines of "let the noobs be", even though the one advancing the argument for the noobs, believes that noobs kiking is a problem and the kik system widely abused? -

You don't know that. You have no idea what the average for seeing hackers is. Limiting vote kicks will only increase hackers because they know if they overwhelm the system it will eventually run out of kicks and they'll have free reign. -

Firstly there is a program called X-Trap that prevents hackers and updates constantly to stop more hack programes as they find them.
Secondly, How would you run out of kik votes?
Limited kiks are 'per hour', 'per day', 'per player' and your kik amount regenerates after this period to the full amount, so you can never 'run out of kik votes' except when you go on a "noob kiking spree" kiking 20 people per day or 4 people per hour.
That's just for one player, other players in the game have the same privileges too, so if you have been a noob and you used all your kiks then others can kik - And if you used all your kiks which are 'more than enough', maybe your not best placed to tell whos hacking in any event as you don't know a hacker when it hits you in the face
The only way for hackers to have 'free reign' is if; ALL CF players, used ALL their votes, at PRECISELY the SAME time AS EACH OTHER in the DIFFERENT GAMES they are in - Then for 1 hour or for a day (depending on which is in place) hackers would have an 'hour of rampant hacking' or a 'day of rampant hacking', HIGHLY UNLIKELY and improbable if not impossible.
Thats about as likely as everyone logging off CF at the same time, or you logging on and finding noone to play with as noone is logged on. (minus server errors/patches when you all are logged off or when you get on just thereafter) -
The general Idea is fine, because I hardly ever see hackers either. Just one huge flaw in my opinion which would make me say leave it as is.
Flamers/Racist people, excessive QQ...You name it, they get annoying and I end up kicking more of those then any "Hackers". I have encounted tooons of these, and definetly more then 4 in a hour on a couple of occasions, and took more then 1 vote per to get them out.If you not going to be a good sport, you dont deserve to play.
But I do wish we would have like a reminder of the good old days and what hacks actually looked like, felt like, ect(It was kinda funny with speed hackers in every room)...So many noobs have just joined CF, hear people whine hack, and then assume anyone better then them hacks; never having seen the real thing. -

I can usually put up with racists etc to be honest as their ignorance is amusing to say the least, it is even more fun killing them the same goes for QQ'ers.
However there are times when it does go beyond 'amusing' or 'funny', and I do try to kik them myself.
However with so few hackers now and bearing in mind the number of used votes (for the hackers) you should be able to still kik these said people that are qq'ing or racist etc.
Also when I suggest limiting the vote I am giving out made up figures so people get the drift, however I do suggest a generous number of votes (more than what should be required in any set of circumstances, but nonetheless restricted), basically kiking noobs have unlimited votes at present and limiting there votes, may limited this problem of wrongful kiking.
A feature I find useful for excessive qq'ing or racists etc is the chat block feature, then you can ignore them and shoot their heads off until your hearts content lol
