You know, i've seen an AK-47 in real life and it was mighty sexy. But even though it does have a certain aesthetic appeal I agree with lolli that it would upset game balance. If they did add the silencer they'd have to make the distance you could hear it from at least double that of the M4's. Then it might be okay.
They could always add a bayonet

I agree with this. Although if a silencer was added.
The accuracy would slightly go up.
But the power would drasticly go down. So it wouldn't be worth it...
