Hack Tool Detected & Disconnect from Server
After updating the game I'm having a problem with my login account.
Whenever I walk into a room or at any one time server, get error messages appear saying that I was "disconnected from server" or "hack tool detected".
But it happens that I do not use any hack, and I really want to play. Please ask the team Z8 Games to help me fix this error, in any way possible, whether with any suggestions or patch repair.

I have been experienced this like 30 times today. First, i got "Hack Tool Detected" error and forced me to close. Honestly, i have never used Hack before because i am a clan member and our clan policy is NO HACK or KICKED OUT. I also don't have money for that junk. Later, i often for "Disconnect to Server" or "Disconnected Due Wrong Map Info". I don't understand what is going on. I then contacted Z8Games support team. They replied me "Dear Player,
Socket Errors of this nature are most likely due to some sort of termination of the connection. This could be caused by the increased amount of traffic to our servers during patch times. Please try to play the game during off-hours to see if a stable connection can be established.
First try to reboot the computer or restart your internet connection. Often times this can jump start the connection process and allow players to play the game. Also make sure to close down any third party programs that may be running behind Cross Fire. Make sure that your virus scanner is disabled and that your firewall has the proper exceptions to allow Xtrap, HGW File Water and Cross Fire to use the full internet connection.
While a reinstall is probably not necessary for this type of error it can sometimes help. Make sure to completely uninstall the game and download the newest version of the Client provided on the cross fire website at crossfire.z8games.com.
If this problem persists please visit our Tech Support forums at: http://forum.z8games.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13 to discuss the error with other players and the CF GMs.

omfg..same problem..wtffffffffff seriously..since the recent patch every time i start the game it fkin gets closed automatically for 4 reasons..
1-) Disconnected due to incorrect map info.
2-) Disconnected from server
3-) Hack tool detected
4-) crossfire run time error(shows up some random code and closes)
and da solution for dis is to configure your router settings and some complicated shyz....seriously z8 games you think we would do all that just to play your game ? y da hell cant we ever play one proper game ?
You knw hw g4y it feels wen ur acing da game and it gets disconnected and u loose all ur EXP... i never had so mch problems playing a online game..and before the patch i had absolutely no problems xcept the ping since deres no servers in china..
please FIX THESE ISSUES ATLEAST NEXT PATCH......it seriously feels horrible..wen u wanna play and it wont work! -
It's sooo annoying !!! I was going along fine for 2 weeks then i started having this problem , uninstall and reinstall seems to help sometimes ,but its a temporary fix (usually less than a day), I'm confident it's not a router problem , the only thing I use is what is provided by my ISP , I don't have any other internet problems. ping and download upload speeds are above average. my system is a new HP with windows 7 ,well maintained and updated . antivirus and firewall is handled by mcafee , I've disabled it while trying to run crossfire . direct X is fully updated , Nvdia card fully updated ,all my drivers are updated, I'm not a computer wiz by no means , I get lost in the jargon , but i can read, understand, and follow directions just fine , I've tried every solution that has been given to me , only to end up looking for another . If i come across one that truly works I'll post with haste . please do the same. good luck everyone

The other day in ANY game i went to just as i started to shoot, the game would freeze up and after about 15 seconds it would put me back in the server.
I finally gave up and just wanted to play in mutants and as soon as i pulled the trigger it happened AGAIN
but this time i got this and was like W T F ! ? ! ? ! @$%)$*%#^%!!!!!!! :eek:
I know I get accused of hac.king but this made me LOL

I get that mid game, but I click 'OK' and it lets me carry on in the same room ^_^ weird. -

I'm not connected to a router , so if it's your router causing problems this might not help , after turning off my antivirus firewall , and in network sharing advanced settings , turning on "discovery networks" then in windows firewall advanced settings , enabled ALL rules for "discovery networks" inbound and outbound , this was solved for me
i have windows 7 64 bit , Mcafee antivirus , 2010 HP slimline , DSL , if any of that makes a difference ,

Lots of Problems
There isn't just problems with hack tools being detected, but also incorrect map info disconnections, and x-trap problems that I have being experiencing. I know someone who has been disconnected constantly over the past three days, and there is no end to it. Can anyone out there put a little bit of enlightenment on the subject?? It seems to me that since the last patch there has been a lot of bugs that need sorted out, or the servers have a virus. It was happening a lot on the West coast server, but then I went to alpha server, and the same thing happened there. Could it be a server problem that hasn't been detected? Anyhow, I hope someone who can do something about that reads this. -
Cross Fire Errors
In as much as I would like to believe that it was the anti-virus program that was causing all the problems, I know that it's not. I have had it off and on, and still the errors. I have disabled all unnecessary services, allowed all traffic through the modem, reconfigured just about as much as I know how to, and still the errors. I thought it was something wrong with my computer, so I did a complete virus scan, and I was clean. There might not be anything that we can do to fix this problem, and that's the reality of it... Z8Games, are you reading this?? -
Re. HACKING
I myself don't use hacks, and I don't plan to. It takes the enjoyment out of the game to cheat. It is a compatibility problem. I run windows vista home premium, and I have set all the .exe files in the crossfire folder to run in compatibility mode for win xp sp2, and it works fine. If you had read, they are finding that they are getting false positives, and are trying to fix that problem as we speak. -

I get that error on every game!

I never had time to complete a game
try it three times, if it doesnt work after that, then meh, it hates you
