  • Not too bad as it is, same Graphics Card as my laptop too :D
Only the processor that's letting it down, you might as well just get a new one installed.

Edit: Actually this is pretty much the same as my laptop cept I have less RAM (3GB), but I have a 3.70ghz Processor, and Vista 32-bit.

HPs are pretty much WIN :D
  • hey thx for the input I didn't think of a new processor :P

but i was thinking bout buying more ram, graphics card and prob a 500GB-1TB external ( my mom wants me to share)

If you only have 4g ram. You should have 32 bit. That is one of your problems. Also vista is bad.. Windows xp is better for gaming it is more stable. Your CPU is moderate. And your graphics card could be a lot better seeing as how games require a good amount of graphics.
Btw, you can't do much with a laptop. Try a desktop and build from there.
  • not to sound like a jack... but i love my laptop ad at the time this was the best comp i could get (i didn't want a tower i wanted a laptop)

so what I'm hearing is boost my processor

so can 64 bit change to 32 bit?

so upgrade processor to 4 or more and but more RAM ( I can double it )

Your operating system comes with 2 discs. 64 bit and 32 bit.

Ram will help but it is more graphics card related.

If you are updating more ram then keep the 64 bit, i only said that because 4g ram is max for a 32bit OS. And is not necessary for a 64 bit to have 4g ram.
  • ok ty for advice

any idea on wat graphics card i should get

Yaa, the multiplication of 64-bit + Vista = the equivalent to 1.7gb RAM compared to XP 32-bit. Or something like that haha. Meh the Graphics Card is pretty good, I presume he's installed an update, or has the 724mb one like mine. ATI make the best graphics card IMO. Crysis runs as smooth as booobs on highest settings anyways :D
  • If you wanna get better FPS in CF, get a better CPU.

How much are gaming type computers?

Buy Windows XP Gaming Edition, or Diamond Edition. They utilize your PC/Laptop and basically turn it into a mid-range gaming cpu. But tbh, at $500-$600 you may as well save for custom parts and build your own PC :\

But if you want a gaming laptop, Dell Alienware is the best you can get, for reasonable price. They start from $799 for 11" screen, up to $1799 for 17" screen.
  • thx for teh help guys:P

i guess im just gonna buy ( or build my own if i have teh time)
