Makes me giggle when NA players come to UK server and cry about noregs.
PAYBACK etc.
Anyways, yeah. This isn't Crossfire NA, its Crossfire NA & UK. Always been.
Now we all got our own server and should only bother eachother on Beta (which isn't called beta any more.. On CLAN.) -
i play in Alpha-7 for a bit each day,UK is like ye playing in Echo. All the turkish idiots have taken over UK. Alpha is a challenge,UK server is a warm-up.
Anyway,i scrim with 119 ping-so i practise a bit with it. The 175+ pingers really p*ss me off though. -

Honestly, if CF was European I wouldn't bother playing it. FPS games don't run well when you're too far from the server thus why I don't play the Japanese version of Crossfire instead.
Also, if you're from NA...turn off the computer and read a book. Horrendous typing. -

I've played on the NA server with a ping of a 120 to a 140, and only rarely people complained about getting no-regs. Really, pings below 150 are normal. Its usually a huge difference between pings, that causes the problem (Sorry, Canadians).
Anyway, my EU ping is better on the NA server, than Aussies, Brazilians, and Turks on EITHER server. So, pull up you big girl panties and deal with it already. Because this global crying about trivial matters is causing the sea level to rise. And because I live in the Netherlands, and they are called the Netherlands for a reason, I'm afraid you are gonna cause flood and drown me one day if you guys don't start plugging those leaks like little Hans Brinkers.

Well like Kahlan said, I wouldn't play if I had 120+ ping, but you can understand why most NA players hate foreigners. e.g. 80% always QQ and the other 20% dont talk at all or talk in portugese, you have to deal with "alguem br" and "eu" spam during the games, and ALL foreigners talk smack they can't back up. Not to get started on the actual lag they do and not the typical crying that low pingers use when they die to sound "cooler".
Plus, only like 10% of the forumers actually do this so the community won't change much because of the thread. -

With that said, The lower the ping the better. However, if I could play with my friends who said I should download a game, and play with them and I started to like the game more and more and my ping was 120-170 I would still play. Because I like playing with my friends and thats what its about. Having fun, playing the game. Although, most games I play I get 50-70 ping so I hardly have ping issues with any game. I love being smacked dab in the middel of the U.S.. -
