CrossFire error need help asap.

Ok, having read some of the problems that people are having, i may have found a solution, be it might not be a permanent one, but have just tried it on 2 machines, and so far so good.

STEP 1
Got to the game folder for CF i.e C:/Programe Files/Z8 Games/Crossfire

STEP 2
Delete the XTrap folder fom this location (this will force the game to update XTrap refreshing all files)

STEP 3
Before you do anything else make sure you empty your Recycle Bin so the XTrap folder you just deleted is completely off of your system

STEP 4
Run CF as normal.

Once XTrap has updated the HGW Game Watcher should run normally. If not then i must have been just that damn lucky LOL

Give this a go and if it works then please let me know and pass this on to anyone else you know who is having the same problem
