After I launch my game from the desktop executable, and I click start game, the GameWatcher is loaded, it enters my game and it freezes there with the Loading All Textures message on the screen, and the only way to close the game is by ctrl alt del. What should I do?

I think I had the same problems Yesterday, First, I couldnt close the update, and then, i got errors, like socket error and more, I think it would help if u removed it, and install it again from website, I did it, And now i can play. Download with Torrent, it goes faster. -
Ok, if i was you I would do this in the following order;
1 - Uninstall Crossfire from Add/Remove Program in Control Panel
2 - Be sure to delete ALL the files on your C: and
crossfire folders.
3 - Run CCleaner (1 time its gonna help alot, but do it 2-3 times, to be sure that everything is fixed)
4 - Install a fresh copy of Crossfire.
5 - Make sure you dont have any antivirus/firewall that could block access to CF.
Try this, and let me know. -
ok!
I see that theres now alot of peoples having that socket error problem.. might not be on your side! Just wait until they find a way to fix it.. or if you actually find something, tell us! (I have no problem with CF but i want to know)
Theres now a thread called Socket Error.. lets see how many people will post!
