About the UK Servers

Hello. Its been a long time since i played Crossfire. I started when it came out and had alot of fun playing it, the reason i quit playing was the Ping from the US Servers so my question here is simple, will it improve my Ping using the UK servers? Im from Sweden.

guess that is a perfect example for this stupid-question - Stupid-answer thingy.
