Well I guess you could... But doesn't that take up bandwidth? And 8 slots isn't enough. And are you using an extra computer to keep it up? Or your current one? As most people only have one...He's lying.
You gotta download the client from ventrilo[dot]com.
I host my own on my home desktop PC & leave it up 24/7.
You can only have an 8 slot though, no higher. -

8 slots is enough for me.
It's enough for a team to scrim as well.
I have my PC and my laptop.
I only use my PC to host the ventrilo and my laptop for everything else.
If 8 slots isn't enough and you want something like 20 slots I could give you a website where you can get a 20 slot for only $4 a month.
If not, deal with 8 slots.
