i dont use scopes either i feel they are "awkward" rather use the crosshair lol...so i guess silver is good then? is their a difference in their ROF or spray pattern? -

Comically...I really find I don't care for either of them, and have them both. If I had to choose between the two, however, I prefer the Silver. The Custom takes up a curiously large amount of the screen (distractingly so, for me,) and has never felt very accurate, at least in my hands.
I still think the silenced MP5 is the best of the silenced guns, though. >.> -

Well said and agreed, the M4A1-Custom is a bit of a distraction with it's massive scope. -
I just got the M$-silver yesterday but I haven't gotten a chance to use it.
Although the scope on the custom is a bit dristacting (in most peoples cases)
I find drag/flick shotting easiest with the custom then any other gun.
So until I try the M4-Silver I will have to say go with the custom.
On a side note: I don't see why you can't get both, one cost ZP and the other is BP.
Maybe I'm just not paying much attention about something. -

The problem is that people are trying to save BP if they only have about 9k or 10k BP. IF they spend M4Silver 8900 and they already have M4C , it is not worth it .
They can wait for next couple patches when Z8games put new BP gun , they can spend it . Until then , people can use M4Custom instead of M4Silver , if they are in this kind of problem that I just explain . -

Ok, I sorta see the issue, I guess I don't have that problem like others. -
Silver if you like shiny stuff and are noob (+5 ammo meens you can spray which meens you can play it noob style
:):)) and Custom if you don't Need the +5 ammo and like a badass looking Special-Ops gun oi and Custom has less weight and scope the less weight makes you faster and the Scope is great for some 'Tactical Waiting' spots for example on ship if the enemies are stupid enough I can get sick one shots and take enemies out in 1/2 shots thanks to scope
Personaly I have M4A1-C and a friend gave me M4A1 Silver 3 matches long all the time but my preff goes to M4A1-C because it feels better and I don't need that extra ammo
Edit. Though I agree that Z8 is a jerk in the fact that a crate gun has 30 and a BP gun has 35 rounds (and Silencer) but thats already in my rage post in comparing the AK-47 Silver and the M4A1 Silver
I would recommend M4A1 Silver when you have nothing else you want to spend your BP on but if I had both I probably would use the Custom more.. as I have M4A1 Adv but never use it also

M4C is just all-time the best in this Crossfire .
Light , convenience by scope , nice power , SUPERHS one shot . -
If you guys ever listen to the "pros" (I hate using that term for this game but better choice for a lack of words) You will notice that depending on the player is what decides how good the gun is.
I used to use the m4a1 (before the others came out) and I 1 hs'd all the time.
A few months ago I obtained an m4-adv for like a month and 23 days and I also 1 hs'd all the time.
Maybe its just how I play or maybe its how the gun and I cooperate so well, but its always based off of the players game style. -

Thankfully, I'm beyond the childish antics of someone who types like they're in preschool.
And your words don't change the fact that the scope on the M4-Custom is both overly large and slightly distracting.
