1st day with AK-47, used to be scarlight-er
my 1st day with AK-47, neither sucks nor great, managed to get 1.7 KDR today with AK
1. 100 meters, single burst or double burst: a bit better than scarlight, usually 1 shot head kill, 2 shots for regular kill, really good damage
2. 0 meter~10 meters(now I pray the enemies go closer :-): AK really is a beast, I used to die with scarlight, this time I can kill 1-2 enemies close counter
3. 10 meters~ 100 meters: AK sucks, still not know how to handle it within this range. scarlight is GREAT within this range
final word: still learning the rope, but a lot more head shots today, guess I get used to aim the chest, so this time more head shots with AK recoil
ps. I am afraid AK hurts my eyes, the whole screan shakes when shooting, AK is bad for eyes

Learn the taps.
Long range you single tap, it is as accurate as a Dragunov or the M700 on the first shot, even if you are moving. Mid-long range you double tap. Mid to short you double or triple burst, and you only auto up close.
When you burst, aim for chest or stomach and let the fire "walk" up into the face. Done!
I used to (I say used to since I barely play CF anymore. It's gotten too unbearable lately) be so beast with the AK that I'd frequently get kicked, have high ranks with SCAR-Ls and ZP weapons rage-quit on me, and I'd counter-snipe AWPers with it!
I will say that although the SCAR-Ls spray is very controlable, but it isn't very predictable as it tends to hit anything within a circle around the center dot of the crosshair. I shoud know, I have one and only use it on select maps or when I feel like spraying. I prefer my AK almost infintely to it. The AK recoil is strong, but it goes straight up, angles slightly, then plateus. Shoot a wall about 50 feet away, the spray looks like a number 7.
The first few shots climb people, the next few you need to correct a bit for, and the rest, if you keep it right, you can "walk" left and right at head height and just mow people.
The AK-74 has the same recoil pattern and accuracy, but the power is very lacking compared to the 47. It is hard to double tap and kill people, and it is difficult to 1S1K with it at range. However, I do prefer it over the M4s, SGs, XMs, and other crowd favorite weapons.
Actually, I have noticed that an AK master can do very well with the AK-74, but it scarcely works the other way around.
Give it time and the AK will serve you well. My AK was my first AR, and though I have a SCAR-L and an AUG now I still prefer the AK for all scenarios.
I like the SCAR-L when I am lazy, and I like the AUG when I feel like scoping people out, but for all around everything you can't top the AK.

i test my AK-47Scope at Monaco with a friend , from Respawn wall to Respawn wall i couldn´t see the head just a enemy pixel and i shoot 5 times GoldeN headShoot
so dont say its bad on long range just learn to play with it or let it
p.s dont say You have the Scoped ak its the same just have a scope for bigger Screen

I don't know about how distances are measured ingame, but I take it 100m is long. Scar Light would demolish the AK at long, long range is the weakness of the AK. The Galil's a fantastic SMG.
So you lucked the shots, you have a good long range aim, or he wasn't moving? Whichever it was, any other rifle would have worked for a long range HS, but would have had a larger margin of error if you did miss. Sure, and I pwn with all AKs except that one.
Really now...it's a terrible weapon. It was my first...I ditched it after a few days. Call me a n00b, sure, but I then picked it up a few weeks ago to give it another chance (since my skills improved) and yeah...it still fails. Badly.
The only thing it's good at is noise.
P.S. All AKs are one shot headshots. Heck, practically all guns are.
Low recoil? I can handle my AK-Camo, thanks though. -

1) First thing i'll say is that there's no exact measurement in crossfire. Its broken into short/mid or long range,or short-mid range or mid-long range. Back to your point,the thing which stuck out most: AK IS ALWAYS one shot kill to head,and its 3 shot kill to stomach/chest-not two.
2) Not too stupid here. AK is a beast at short range,but if you died with a skill light at close range....well,you are sp@stic@ted. Also,by saying ''close counter'',i presume you mean Close Quarters Combat (CQC)
3) In mid-long range,i love my AK. Do a small burst while dragging down my crosshairs. A 3 shot kill to chest,or i end up with a headshot. If its long range i just tap and again,kills pretty quickly.
My final word) Nothing much wrong here,just suprised you arent a skill light sprayer,but i suppose you cant aim for head so joins the list of luckers.
P.S.) Your spelling is horrible. And what do you mean the screen shakes? If you have a problem with your eyes,get glasses kid. -
AK 47 is the only weapon i bought in this game. saved my money for it and since then i wont use any other rifle. but one thing i hate about it is that everytime ppl blame me for haking just cuz i own with an ak. it is that good to me.
usually aim for body, stomach or chest and if you are in a burst the recoil will get you a head shot. if not never burst it. u need to tap. -
