I'm gunna say colder just so confuse you. Gasses have higher melting points and higher (whatever its called when it freezes) point. Space is the absence of anything. No gas so its cold. The sun is hot as are stars which are made of hydrogen and helium-gasses. Now the hottest water you'll face is a scalding bath. Compare.

Actually Sun is a star.oliverf123 wrote: »I'm gunna say colder just so confuse you. Gasses have higher melting points and higher (whatever its called when it freezes) point. Diffusion happens in gasses mainly but sometimes water (osmosis) go from high pressure to low. Solids cannot move coz of their tight structure
Solid have gaps between them not gas
Solids have strong bonds hence the formation
i get confused with melting points and whats the other point. -

compared with a crystalline solid the particles in an amorphous solid
a occur in random pattern
b occur in a definite three -dimensional arrangement
c consists of molecular sheets
d have a more complex unit cell
is it A
which of the following is a crystalline solid
a plastic milk container
b quartz rock
c glass bottle
d 3 dimensional glass cube
molecules at the surface of a liquid can enter the vapor phase only if
a equilibrium has not been reached
b the concentration of the vapor is zero
c their energy is high enough to overcome the attractive forces in the liquid
d condensation is not occurring -
No idea what amorpheous sold is

1st answer I'd say D coz i think crystalines are like diamonds
2nd bbbbb
3rd A
Equlibirum is when the reaction can go both ways to reverse and get the product. So when you get the vapour it can becoem water again. Equlibirum reactions always happen, so parts are making product some making reactants. When its equal the amount of reactants and products reacting are the same. So that means that they are gunna give the same sort of results it that makes any sense

1. A
2. B
3. C
Im in chem right now and we just went over this chapter :P
are u kidding?.....
and anyways LAST ONE
at a given temperature, different liquids will have different equilibrium vapor pressures because
a the energy of the particles is the same for different liquids
b diffusion rates differ for the liquids
c the attractive forces between the particles differ among liquids
d they cannot all be in equilibrium at once
