  • i find the aug the best head shoots, aslong as you use the scope, you have like 5 shoots of complete accuracy and little recoil, the m4 is good at this 2, but the aug is better at long range, and as good fire rate when not scoped in, i think if used right this gun is better than the scarL(if this is used right)
  • alsome review... and ur not a mod lol! nice good job keep going and stay strong.
  • i would say for the money k2 is one of the best guns because ,one its cheap, two its got good power, three little recoil, four very accurate...!!
  • your account doesnt have 99% of the weapons (-_-')
  • Agreed, Scar Light is better overall vs Ak-47.
  • This is a very useful thread and Scar Light is beast.
  • it depends. if you can make a well aimed shot in the head, go for the m4a1. otherwise, ak>everything if you can handle the hard recoil.

I stopped reading after I saw your profile. ROFL. Nice stat reset. And you're still barely a 1.0.. haha.
  • Weird????

How is it possible to have these stats?and be 2nd Lieutenant? With all those weps? Mainly k/d

You can buy zp items that reset your k/d ratio
  • Qbz-95

My personal favorite weapon is the QBZ-95. It has pretty much the same damage capability as the SCAR-H (heavy), but is lighter, has less recoil, and a higher rate of fire which makes up for it's low damage compared to the SCAR-H
  • My favorite gun is XM1014. I just play Ship map. A lots of people called my hacker because they didn't believe what I did with my shotgun. That's so funny. I didn't hack. I don't know why some people called shotgun is a noob gun '.' .
This is my profile :D .

  • i got to agree with u. the m4 series is the best. most ppl likes to use the scar l because of its characteristics u mentioned but i doesn't help to increase ur skills. however, the m4 can help you to practice accuracy and pretty much everything else...ak is probally the last gun to master..if u can master ak, ur pro.
  • For the part with the guns that have low bullet spread and high accuracy, doesn't SG552 spread. It seems like it to me. Or atleast when it is full auto.
  • The Scar Light is good if your a noob.(I have to ammit, im a noob but i have a M4A1.) the M4A1 is good if your a pro.

    http://clan.z8games.com/charstat_cf.aspx?usn=4154753

Two factors are important to know how to evaluate a gun:
    1. Common sense, and how does the gun perform & feel in your hand practically.
    2. Theoretical and scientific understanding as to "why the gun works well with me".

    FIRST PRIORITY: SKILL
    - Aiming Skills.
    - Mastering A Primary Gun.
    - Tactics.

    SECOND PRIORITY: BULLET HITTING ACCURACY
    - Standing/Crouching Accuracy.
    - Moving/Running Accuracy.
    - Bullet Spread.
    - Fire pattern.

    THIRD PRIORITY: Rate Of Fire
    - Automatic bullet projection speed.

    FOURTH PRIORITY: POWER
    - Damage done to enemy per bullet.

    FIFTH PRIORITY: Maneuverability
    - Gun's Weight & impact on movement speed.
    - Reload Time.

I believe that Accuracy+Rate of Fire are more important than Power. It's easy to understand this if we compare the Scar-Light with the AK-47. The 2 players shoot at each other, but the scar-lighter moves right to left in fast movements in fast bursts and the AK47er is trying to focus the crosshair for a single/double shot to the chest without missing.

If the Scar-lighter misses a few shots, it's always OK.
    1. S/he can move/hide quicker.
    2. S/he can reload faster.
    3. S/he does'nt wait a lot for the gun to calm down from recoil.

If the AK47er misses a few shots, it's NOT OK Because...
    1. For every shot S/he misses, it gives more time to the enemy to keep draining HP.
    2. S/he should wait until the recoil of the gun is 0 so he can start shooting again.
    3. Reload time of high-powered guns takes time.

On the other hand don't forget that in very close-ranges the Scar-Lighter will usually not stand a chance against the AK-47er. But this was simply to explain why Accuracy+ROF is much more important than Power, and then another important factor comes in handy and it's called the Bullet Spread.

Bullet Spread is the distance between bullets fired until a full clip round is finished. The lower the spread of the bullets, the higher probability that the "remaining" bullets will also hit the target.

There are 2 types of Bullet Spread:
    1. Vertical Spread (Any gun recoil will usually push the bullets vertically upwards at first).
    2. Horizontal spread (After the first few shots the bullets will go either left or right).

As far as low bullet spread and high accuracy goes, the competition in this field will settle to the following guns:
    - M4A1 (with all relatives)
    - Scar-Light
    - K2
    - XM8
    - Steyr AUG
    - SG552
    - QBZ-95

PS: Scoping in scoped-guns greatly lowers the spread (on the cost of decreasing the rate of fire).

Therefore if I had to choose a gun from the list, I would choose QBZ-95. Because in terms of it's high power it has a low spread, and it has a high rate of fire. But then we're missing something else... The Fire Pattern.

The combination of Vertical & Horizontal Bullet Spread of a gun constitutes the Fire Pattern. Choosing the right gun from this list will totally depend on fire pattern, because it will decide how many bullets will hit the target while standing, moving, or running.

    Abbreviations:
    Accuracy = ACC
    Fire Pattern=FP
    Rate of Fire=ROF
    Bullet Spread=BSP
Maneauverability (Speed of movement & reload time)=MVB

Steyr AUG: As All Around Rifle
    1. Superior Accuracy Per ROF
    2. Low BSP while standing
    3. Worst FP while moving
    4. Lowest MVB in its category.

Scar-Light: As An All Around Rifle
    1. Superior Accuracy Per MVB.
    2. FP Inferior to K2 & M4A1.
    3. ROF inferior to Steyr AUG & M4A1.
    4. Better (lower) BSP than Steyr AUG.

M4A1: As An All Around Rifle
    1. Second to Steyr AUG in Highest Accuracy Per ROF.
    2. Lowest BSP.
    3. FP Inferior to K2 but superior to Scar-Light.
    4. Second to Scar-Light and quite Average MVB.

K2: As All An Around Rifle
    1. Best FP per MVB (MVB is lower than M4A1 & Scar-Light due to reload time slightly longer).
    2. Second to Scar-Light in Standing/Crouching Accuracy & ROF.
    3. Equal BSP to Scar-Light & Inferior to M4A1 & Steyr AUG.

    AK-47: As Powerful Rifles
    1. Superior Damage Per Hit.
    2. Highest BSP (that's bad news).
    3. Very low MVB due to slow movement speed, but reload time makes it up a bit.
    4. Bad FP but it might be superior to XM8 & definitely inferior to Scar-Heavy.
    5. Normal ROF.

    Scar-Heavy: As Powerful Rifles
    1. Lowest BSP Per High-Powered Guns.
    2. As a high-power gun, the first 2 bullets are spread superior to the AK-47 and inferior to the QBZ-95
    3. After the first 2 bullets, the FP is superior to QBZ-95 due to being more vertical (note that vertical spread is great for headshooting).
    4. Worst MVB in high-powered guns due to the slow reload time and slow movement.

XM8: As An SMG-Close Powerful Rifles
    1. It has superior Accuracy Per ROF & Per MVB, especially in crouching mode.
    2. Inferior Power Per ROF to QBZ-95.
    3. Best MVB in its category.
    4. Vertical BSP when standing is superior in it's cateogry.
    5. FP & ROF Inferior to G36K
    6. Inferior scope to M4A1-Custom, Steyr AUG & SG552.

    QBZ-95: As SMG-Close Powerful Rifles
    1. It has Superior Power Per ROF (Beats XM8 & G36K).
    2. Below Average FP while moving.
    3. Average MVB.

    G36K: As SMG-Close Powerful Rifles
    1. Superior ROF and unregrettable MP5 alternative.
    2. Pretty good MVB.
    3. Vertical BSP suitable for headshooting.
    4. Very High BSP per distance.
    5. Scope superior to XM8 and inferior to the rest.

This makes it easier to mention the God Mode [DAMAGE] Awards:

Headshooting is important because it is the fastest way to kill an enemy. The Golden Headshooter Award goes to: M4A1.
    - Because it has the lowest bullet spread per accuracy and rate of fire. As for the fire pattern, it's still works for headshooting while moving.

The God Mode All Around Gun goes to M4A1:
    1. Because at close range it dominates better than the rest of the guns due to it's unbeatable ROF & vertical BSP combo.
    2. The FP while moving is not as good as the K2, but it still works better than Scar-light
    3. Highest probabilty of headshooting due to lowest BSP.
    4. The guns' maneauverability is not as its' superior Scar-light but it's still better than many others.

The only competitor of the M4A1 is the Scar-Light, but the M4A1 beats it with better fire-pattern on the move, increased rate of fire, and lower BSP. But if you need the highest MVB, get the Scar-light.

The mentioned guns are the ones I prefer the most that's why I didn't mention the rest of the guns. For your info, the most special feature of any gun listed is written in the first point. It will help you decide which gun you can use to maximize it's pros and minimize it's cons during game play.

However, mentioning the best all around gun has one advantage, which is to utilize the most of your Aiming skills. That is to say that a PRO AK-47er will even be more unbeatable with an M4A1. Challenging guns teach you to aim, whereas good all around guns makes you PWN.

It is as wise to choose any gun as far as you will try to utilize it's pros and minimize it's cons, but when you're in a situation when you must face the cons of a gun, it will force you to switch your weapon. And then your mind will be clear, and you will return to the PROs Standard, killer of Killers... the M4A1 family.

I hope this helps in your choices for BAG1, and if more EXP changed my mind, I'll let you know. As for BAG2, it's still under-experimentation but most probably it will be a high-powered gun or smg-close rifle.

    Thanks,
    Arto

I believe XM8 isnt an SMG-Close weapon.. I can shoot real good from far away.
Scrub-Light ftw and It pwns all.
lol xm8- and scar light are my 2 fav. snd weapons. (NEXT TO ALL MY SPEC. WEAPONS)
    Nice guide. 9/10 ftw :)
  • Nice information there dude!
I however am not as professional or expert as you people are, but still I've tried almost all guns (picked em up, EM matches, etc). I've been using M4A1 for quite a while now, I even own one. Everything is great, the headshots, lower BSPs and everything you said. Except, the recoil rate is not very good. For bursts and move-n-hits, Scar Light is the best option, M4A1 should quite NOT be your favorite for bursts.

Good job! That is a great sticky and it will help out noobies in the future. Most of the time, they go and buy a weapon that they think is good, and then they don't know how to use it and they end up wasting thier time making more accounts. To all noobies out there, READ THIS STICKY!

    Thanks,
    Arto

    WOW unbelievably LONGGGGGGG
  • So It Became A Sticky?

Wow, I've posted this thread a long time ago, I never expected it to be a sticky. I've skimmed through a lot of posts quickly and I had some comments in reply but obviously I won't be able to reply to all of them.

To all those reader who expressed appreciation to the original post, I can't thank you enough. It really shows me that the thread was usefull and worth the effort.

To someone who stopped reading the thread because he discovered that I reset my stats, I tell you my son.. yes I did reset my stats, because some time ago my ping was very high that the result of many game stats did not really represent my skill. Secondly I have a very bad "honor", in this games' rating because of the same ping reason I quit out of a lot of games, and when the game is not fun anymore (like when there is a hacker or whatever) I just leave.. This is the main reason I play the first place. I play to have fun, unlike others who play to farm, or to get high ranks, or to increase clan points.

For those who tell me I don't have 99% of the guns.. At one time I had many more guns, and I sold them because I wanted to buy newer guns without buying ZP. But it doesn't mean that I haven't tried these guns.

For the AK-47 fans I'm really sorry if you thought I dont like this gun. AK-47 is a favorite of mine, but my thread was trying to be more practical. Such that, there is a great difference between a practical gun and a gun that you have fun with. When you face professional Scar-Lighters, M4ers or whatever, you will understand what it means to be practical. Ak-47 will still beat professionals in close-to-mid range but in long range the bullet spread of the M4 or SC-L will be very hard to compete with. How much time does it take you with AK-47 to shoot at a very distant wall on the same point 3 times? What if the scar-light can shoot at the same point twice as fast without having to wait to tap again? Do you get it? M16 is the same for the first two shots.

There is a dominant potential in every gun that when you utilize correctly you will PWN most of the time. My thread was about "All Around Gun" which means the gun that will help you deal with the maximum ammount of situations you are put in with let's say 70% success.

    For example,
1st case: You are using M4A1 and you face someone with MP5 just infront of you.
2nd case: You are using Sc-L and the same situationas above.

Which case is better? Obviously it's a lose lose situation but with M4A1 will be of better aid in this close range and higher probability to get out of this alive due to higher rate of fire.

If you wonder if I'm a good player or no, I can just claim I'm good, not the worst and not the best but who cares? I'm having a lot of fun with this game, probably that's the reason I spend a lot of time and money to support it. Although the gambling thing I do not appreciate a lot but.. never mind.

Thanks to all of you, I will be checking this thread these days if there are any comments regarding the original post that I can help you with I will be happy to respond.

I change my IGN a lot.. last one is EG
    See you in game :)
  • AWESOME! Ty bro/gal! BTW where did you get the money for all the guns?
