So yeah, does any CF players play on a laptop? If so do you play with your touchpad or a mouse? If a touchpad.. Can you give me a few tips on how to use the touchpad for Cf... lol this is serious

NEVER use the touch pad, unless you have a Synaptics touchpad, and even then it's a pain in the booty, just find a USB mouse :P

Go to your 'control panel', then 'mouse', then 'device settings' and double click the 'Syaptics TouchPad'. This'll bring up a menu where you can change double-taps, and 'EdgeMotion' which is kinda helpful, it means you wont have to keep taking your finger of the pad to turn around/look up/look down. Have a mess about with it, it's kind of hard to get used to, but if you can't get a laser mouse, it's the best there is I'm afraid

Hopefully you don't need to double tap shoot, cause that's near impossible.
Preferably, use around 50 sensitivity, and move fingers slowly with your hand ready to tap if necessary.

tip. don't use the touchpad for cf. your sensitivity has to go really high and then its really innacurate. i just use my cheapo microsoft mouse.

OOOOO I have a tip!

I used to play with a trackpad all the time, you have to be really quick though x.x

What I do is use my left hand for everything, as in jumping, switching weapons, crouching, etc. Make sure you switch crouch from Ctrl to Shift so it makes it more comfy for the pinky. When you want to left or right click, use your left thumb. The left thumb is basicly what I use for jumping and shooting only.

For the right hand, I use it for turning only, nothing else
This way it makes your right hand less stressed, also turn the sensitivity a bit higher.
I personally use the middle finger to turn, but you can use whatever finger you want to turn, thats what she said.(:

i play with laptop
but if my mouse runs out of batteries i take a break
too annoying to try to play with touch pad

I literally haven't touched my TouchPad since I got my USB laser mouse back ^_^

Though I did lick one of the AirMac TouchPads at the Apple store, to see if the mouse pointer would move..... don't ask, long story xD
