windows 7 problem

I have been playing for quite a few months on Vista Home Premium with no problems.

Today I upgraded to Windows 7 and the anytime upgrade to Ultimate.

When I Crossfire comes up, it is only in the top quarter of my screen, even tho the full screen is checked in options. I have tried changing resolution but that did not help.

All the rest of my games, ie UT2004, call of duty Modern Warfare come up full sceen, only Crossfire refuses.

Help me guys, I need to get my Crossfire fix

What resolution do you have in the game settings, and what monitor?

Its a problem with the windows 7 x64 bit version.
I dont think theres a solution.
But, you could try to change the resolution to like 800x640.

i got windows 7 nvidia gamer edition x64 ultimate,monitor is dell wdf2408 i think,*24*inch,resolution is 1280x1024,because 1440 not working,

OK, I am useing a CTL monitor 1680x1050

If I downgrade my computer to 1440x900 and then sign into game and use options to set resolution at 1440x900 I get the full screen.

Vista did it automatically, but I need to do it manually for now.....that's ok I can do the inconvenience to be able to play full screen.

So anyone with same problem, I would suggest go to options in game and see what the options you have for resolution. Go out of game and set your compuer to match the highest one. Then log back in to Crossfire....worked for me

Vista uses WDDM 1.0 drivers while Windows 7 uses the newer WDDM 1.1 drivers. It could be that your system is still using the WDDM 1.0 drivers from your Vista installation. Check to see if your video card manufacturer has updated Windows 7 drivers.

I have one laptop Asus, and the Asus don't have drivers to w7 , they have some drivers in beta mode , but i can't play crossfire with that drivers

mee to i got a 1366x768 resolution and the screen comes up in game like a small rectangle
