Sounds not playing(grenades,walking,gunfire) but i CAN hear radio messages and combos

combos as in: 2kill 3kill headshot, or death.

but when someone shoots a gun at me or i shoot my gun theres no sound at all neither when grenades explode or when im walking. This is really bothering me, does anyone know how to fix this. By the way i went into the options and checked the sound option and all of them were turned on. Would i need to redownload crossfire??
