Why shouldn't we be allowed to judge those that believe in mystical creatures without 1 shred of proof of their existence? If your next door neighbor would tell you that he believed there was a diamond, the size of a refrigerator, buried in his back yard, but that he didn't need to dig it up, because just believing that its buried there gives him hope, strength and guidance, wouldn't you judge him to be mad as a hatter?
And what about those with religions that judge us non-believers, saying that without their God we're are going to get eternal damnation?
I mean, God can forgive those who have violated and murdered our children, as long as they ask him for forgiveness. But apparently a non-believer can be a freakin' humanitarian and still go to hell for all he cares. Why aren't we allowed to judge those who think this is how it should be?

And what cults are you talking about?
Did you even see the video? It was a joke video, mocking one part of the bible that doesn't appear to make sense or have any relevance in modern times. Perhaps there were complications in translations, or it is a metaphor which has been lost over time.
The video was meant to be a joke, and you came into the thread labeling those who believe in God as weak minded individuals. It takes strength to have faith.

I honestly could care less what my neighbors do and believe in. I'm not about to go digging up their backyard for a diamond. (My neighbors are in fact Islamic east-Indian immigrants, and I am fine with letting them believe in their faith). -

It was the third post, and I can guarantee I am far more versed in the English language than you are. By "past post" do you refer to a different thread? If so, you are the one who is in the wrong. NO religions stuff on the forums. It leads to flame wars and spams.
Say what you say and believe, I'm not planning to change my mind because of this.
Religion is real, you just don't know it because you dont mind to find out.
Don't blurt it out
There's no point in arguing about it, no religious believer will ever, int he process of one argument, gain logical thought.
That being said, this thread wasn't about whether or not a god exists, it was about the hilarity of the bible. Watch the video ffs. -
