Is the G36K worth it?
OK very soon I'm gonna become a staff sergeant, and im absolutely bamboozled on which gun to buy!! In the end my most appealing thought was G36K. Mostly because it is one of the very few guns i have NEVER tried out before. So I'd like your opinions, what are the pros and cons of the G36K? And if you think its ****, could you suggest some other guns as well? Thanks

It is a pretty good rifle IMO.
Pros:
-FAST RoF
-Good reload
-Good power
-Good accuracy
-AWESOME DESIGN!!
-AWESOME WALL BANG POWER!!
Cons:
-Somewhat high recoil (Although it kinda helps with getting HS)
-Really long ranges it might have trouble.
-Runs out of ammo FAST!! -
Its the gun in which the assault rifle and the SMG come together. though its recoil kicks like a mule, and isn't too great at long distance, its RoF is faster than some SMGs, it has good fire power and its spray pattern is not too bad either. Its ideal for CQC maps like Ship and Egypt, but falls pray to the M4, AK, and Scar on maps with greater open space, like Black Widow and Fortress. Its also 1 of the top guns for Ghost Mode, and does very well in Mutation Mode as well.

You have to remember that, even though you wanna be the best at something and try and leave your mark on the community as an elite because you are amazing with a gun.. if 95%+ don't use the gun at all.. normally there is a reason why.
And I'm just throwing this out there, but it's probably because the XM8 is just a far better weapon. What I would do is, make an Alaska game with a friend (lock it of course) and try the weapons scattered around.
The reason I say Alaska is because it has all the weapons since the PSG1 and XM8 were released. -

Perfectly said : If 95%+ of the population of a game doesn't use a weapon, there is a reason. While "noob tubes/ noob rockets/ noob cannons" are basically any gun a "pro" gets kill by, or has a biased opinion as to whether it is overpowered or not, doesn't reduce the fact that the gun in itself is a very high quality weapon. There is no perfect gun, but there are better guns. As the XM8 is far superior to the G36 in almost every logical way, that doesn't mean the G36 is pure fail. In the end it boils all down to whether you want to be sub-par with a mediocre weapon or above-mediocre weapon. -

Why? Cuz it just sucks. Fast rate of fire isn't good for bursting, and u could barely use the scope. Its really not worth it. Get something like the SCAR Light or the XM8. Both of those guns has faster reload and more power. And both of them provides faster movement. But then you need to be a Staff Sergeant Level 4 to get em lol. -

yeah you see the thing is...i WAS considering the Scar L, but i REALLY couldn't be bothered waiting another 4 more ranks....:-/ i'm not a patient guy you know...:-)
