G36K is a close/medium range gun
Scar light or Xm8 is more for long range
I had the G36K for 5 months and quiet enjoyed because of its unique look and the overall uniqueness of a assault rifle acting like a SMG.
However I sold it because that gun doesnt fit my playing style anymore... -

Now about G36... It's one weird rifle for damage. I'd say it's damages nears XM8's. Surely more than K2 or M4 tho.
