Custom HUD?

Are you allowed to have a custom HUD, or is that for some reason banable? And if you can, does anyone have any available for download?

i shouldnt say so as it isnt a 3rd party program... but i dont think anyone has made one

Well, it wouldnt be any different than a custom kill badge or sound pack would it?

That's unfortunate that there isn't one available for download. Maybe BlindRob will make one like he did the Awesome Bar

Only thing hud wise i've ever seemed to be able to edit was the ACE on (TAB), and then the Minimap top left.

I just think it would be neat to have the ammo/health and such be displayed differently.

I agree 100% hence the reason i have tried

But if i do come across a way to edit any of that because i believe its server sided. I will make sure to display it in the Fan works forum.

i think he means the editable stuff like the map etc.

Nice, if you do find out how post that for sure. I wonder if you can implant a Counter-Strike HUD or another games'. Hmmmm. O_o

Heads Up Display, it the things you seen on your screen when you play like the mini-map the ammo counter and the thing that tells you what gun your using.

All data for the HUD is packed in the REZ files, and there's really no way to get into those. Editing anything beyond your kill marks and other basic items is impossible.
