If you have a wal-mart I bought a $30 headset, quality is excellent and I have had them for over 4 years now. And their still holding up. Its Logitec.

Razer Piranha, is what I have. 70 bucks off the site, but I've been told it can be found for cheaper. Comfortable, great sound quality. Non-hiss mic. Etc...Good buy if you want to toss out the extra coin. Also they're quite fashionable which is all that matters amirite?

For some reason the cord kept twisting itself up ridiculously hard (bad shielding on the cord most likely). All the twisting and my subsequent untwisting weakened the cord. Today it broke.

Ah well, I'm sure you will get plenty of suggestions for Razer gear, I've been looking at some of Roccat's stuff lately, I suggest you at least take a look there and keep your options open.

I use these but they dont have a mic (my laptop has a built in mic). They have grate sound quality and i got them for about $35 CND.

Try a steelseries one?

If going for cheap ones, get a USB cheap ones, they would work best among cheap ones
