i saw a few youtube videos, theres no xm8 adv in the bm but there was no xm8 adv but there was winchester/thompson and m16s

can someone explain this, and if you log on a few minutes later after reading this, you can call me delusional.

The video was most likely old. The XM8 ADV is the newest GP crate weapon, only a month old.
