:eek: My highest is around 90, when I am looking at a really blank wall and only one other person in the room. It usually is around 20-30 though.

I usually average around 150 fps.
I've seen it shoot up to 300 once before but didn't get an SS though.
It was only for a bit as well.

On one of the computer i use the fps ranges from 80-120+ but i LAG like a motha xD
On the other one i range from 15-30 fps but i have great connection...

You just need 40FPS to play any game, more then that your eye wont see diference.

anything beyond 60 FPS is not needed...
As the matter of fact.Anything beyond 20-25 with reasonable ping does not lagg..20-25 is Frames Per Second..The eye needs around that to see a clear video without lagg.
So 20-25 FPS is enough.And beyond 60 is not needed.

im pretty sure he dosent have that as a steady fps... he was probally laggin on the spot... to get that ... coz thats how i got this..... hehehehehehe

this is not true with gaming its not even true with tv.... this is an old fact that needs updating...

yes our eyes can only see limited but that when were looking a very big view... so off a tall building... theres lots in sight for your brain to have to processes...

but when sitting like less thamn a foot away from your screen... your brain actually has less work to process what it see's so your human fps actually increases coz less work for your brain to do
also lets just say wot u said.. 30.fps. but your eyes willsee all of these easy and will actually be waiting for more too see... i bet yhour a guy who has enver seen 100+ or 150+ fps

hell i can still see smoothness diffrences all the way up to like 300fps

You've obviously never played with 25 FPS. I can tell you, It most definitely does lag.

You are both wrong.

True, a normal TV has ~30 FPS, but they use motion blur. If you stopped any FPS game, and took a screenshot, you'll see everything is clear and sharp, while if you stopped a TV show, and took a screenshot, most items would be blurred.

Anyone who sprays that "25 FPS is playable" crap is just making excuses for their ****ty computer.

Im not sure what i would get, i always have vsync on.

In Laboratory, I get like 50-60 fps on my laptop if I;m lucky.. normally i get 10-30 fps.
it's kind of hard to play.. -.-

Incorrect, the human eye can only spot 60FPS. Anything lower that 60 you can notice a change it your gameplay.
