Just add the folder from the game to the excluded list on your antivirus.

crossfire contains no viruses

solutions have been posted everywhere including adding it to your exceptions or turning off your antivirus while playing

How do I turn off my McAffee and then back on? or add it to my exceptions list? if u know pls tell :P

Back when I had Microsoft Security Essentials(Free, yet SUCKS), It reported Xtrap as a suspicious file. I clicked on "Send", and I never recieved the message again.

So it's not a virus.

EDIT: Oh, and ESET NOD32 hasn't bothered me a bit about X-Trap.

heres how you solve it with mcafee
you have to go to restore, files, and restore the xtrap things.

then you go to computers and files. Turn everything off. then play

dont forget to turn it back on after your done gaming

but for that second pic, u jsut have to disable the "Virus protection"
