CF compared to other games
I am realy amazed how many people play crossfire. I mean, i stopped playing it a while ago and moved onto Allaince of Valliant Arms. That game is awesome. Here is the comparasion that i made of these 2 games:
Graphics: The graphics in AVA are absoultely astounding. The only game that is on par with the graphics of AVA is Americas Army 3. Crossfire's graphics are ok but could use some work.
Sound: The sounds in crosfire are exellent as they are in AVA.
Radio Messages: Crossfire has 3 options for radio messaging. The Z,X and C keys are the ones you use, then pick a number from the top line of numbers. When you press a key, a list comes up on the left showing options for radio messages, same as in AVA. In crossfire you have options 1-6. In AVA you have options 1-10(for 10 you press 0). AND in AVA you get automatic radio messages, like if you see a team mate get killed, your player will say "Man Down" or if you kill someone you will say "Target Neutralised".
Guns: Crossfire has a HUGE range of guns from assualt rifles, snipers, SMG's and pistols. AVA has a smaller range of Assault rifles and SMG's, but more sniper rifles.
Player models: The player models in Crossfire are ok, but they have a low poly count and have pretty good textures. In AVA, however, you get to cusomize you character from what Armour he has, to what gloves he is wearing. And i know your thinking 'Who cares about what gloves he is wearing?'. Well, the gloves are kind of for looks but more importantly, they give you some kind of bonus, whether it being more GP or more EXP.
Physics: Crossfire does have physics for grenades, but none for the death parts. So some death sequences do have some weird clipping issues. In AVA you have full phisics. For example, You just got a headshot? Expect you opponent to fall backward and have his helmet roll off. Got killed by a grenade? Expect you whole body to go flying.
Both games are rewarding, both have a real army ranking system, both are under 2 gig to download latest version and both have a 'pay real money for special currency' option. But from the facts above, AVA proves to be the slightly better game in these circumstances. But i tell you what, Crossfire is a much better FPS than some other titles i can think of.... Soldier front, Combat arms, Nexuis, etc.

P.S. if you are a CF Game Master (GM) please take some of the good points about AVA and put them into Crossfire, such as the better graphics and the death physics. Those would make the game a hell of alot more popular!!

It aint the graphics that matter. It's the gameplay, how you like the gameplay and the amount of fun you have while playing the game. For me, Crossfire is a lot better since it's fast paced.
and for the last part of your thread, I would quit CF if it became a lot more popular, srsly. It's already full of noobs who don't get the point of playing... -

i second that. many games with amazing graphics are just no fun at all.
its about gameplay. sometimes i still logon to my steam and play cs 1.6

huge increase GP rate, CF its not "free" games, if you buy weapon "not for me" game end because if you don`t buy ZP you never collect GP to buy other weapon - and were is free?
we want challenges and achievements with prizes eg. kill 10, 100, 1000 opponents etc.
of course, everything is done for the money, so it should be also considered a shop, but with the bonus stuff and not forced to have their
these are the simple rules - collect the best of other games and we have a great game, a huge number of players and big moneys profits -

CA - hiring weapons - if you don`t have time to play you lose everything and you can forget about further play
AVA - ping too large for European players
CF - don`t have CA and AVA pluses but have Europe servers
now everything is clear to you ?

I agree, with you two. That is exactly what im trying to say here. If Z8 gamesput all these components of these 2 games they would end up with a SUPER GAME, and it would possible become the most popular free to play FPS ever. They need to take the good graphics from A.V.A (The graphics are good, but my computer runs on a cra.py 64 mb card, so pretty much any computer can run it. Note that my computer has a 2.6 ghz prossesor and 4 gigs of ram.) they also have to take the weapon customization from Operation 7 and the high poly count models from A.V.A. I Hope people agree with me. And gtfokthxbaii, dont reply to this post cause your just going to look like a GM's pet and embarras yourself infront of everyone. :P -

Exactly, i started playing AVA, but soon i became bored with the low amount of modes and maps. Yes, they are good but the fast paced action of AVA doesnt make up for the low amount of maps. -

Graphics are good enough, i got a very fast computer so id prefer a patch but for someone who has a weak computer a graphic patch would be horrible

Well ,AVA has very little modes unfortunately. Escort, Demolition, Domination, FFA and a TDM. AVA doesnt bother you with patches much, but when the patches do come out they usually contain 2 new guns and new maps + glitch fixes. -

i like both games CF rules in some things and AVA in other things i like in ava you get more money here you get extra money doing some things and it got patched 3 times in a month before CF get patched 1 ._.

but what if some1 like both games i like both i love both and that doesnt make the other game better than the other...

AVA is a gd game..But wanna tell you that crossfire has full physics..if u get a headshot u see the helmet flipping in the air..and with popcorn u see the body going like a projectile in the air.
Tried Wolfteam.Sucks BIG TIME ..0 physics.0 gameplay.and -10 on graphics.
Corssfire is the best !! -

Well, sorry but CF (unless my info is wrong(gms tell if if i am)) does not have physics. Yes, your helmet will fly off for a head shot, but this is still a death clip. Same with nade kill and other types of deaths.
And for all those who are saying "Cf has better gameplay", i must say that i agree. Although AVA stil hase good gameplay, the small maps make the fast-pacedness faster. <<<Lol did that sentence confuse u ???? HAHAHAHAHA.
