port?

When you have multiple computers connected to a router, its possible that information being sent on specific ports will not reach your computer properly. By using port forwarding it guarantees that any traffic coming in on those ports will reach their destination.

My schools ICT department have blocked most ports used by games, chat services, limewire etc. but if i ask them to unblock crossfires port, only telling them it's for my antivirus update or something, then they might do it..
So you reckon 10009 and 13008 ? Does 13327 ring any bells? that's what i got from googling CF...
plus do you reckn they would belive me if i said my anitvirus software used two ports? -
