Lag spikes, Ping problems/fluctuation

Anyone else getting lag spikes or ping fluctuation?
I start out with nice ping, maybe 50-100.
After a couple of rounds/mins, I'll get these once in awhile lag spikes. I check my ping and it's gone up to 1000+. I've even see ~8000 ping.
After a couple of seconds, the ping goes down and I don't lag anymore.
This happens repeatedly.
Anyone else get this? Anyone know any solutions?

(I'm reinstalling the game now.)

It's because the server for CF is not as stable as it used to be, or your internet is slowing down. There is no fix other than get a better internet or move closer to the servers.

or maybe wirelless connection cause i am having the same problem and sometimes i mean everyday my ping spikes again and again by 10 from 50-10 50-55 and its not stadable (no ISP or router problem)

I know why its happening (well for me) My ping is 11-12 normally when i am with 5 ppl down i dont lagg but i spike when there is 16 ppl i lag and spike, thats becuase your computer space is to low for example CF is 1500 MB and for me it doesn't fit like my computer is 1500 MB too but i have tons of other thing so i would check ur space and see if u can delete unwanted files or trash.

this happens to me.
Heres a tip. If you have 2 computers and your brother or sister is watching youtube in the other computer while your playing crossfire you will lag.
Trust me this is true this happens to me all the time.
