The Pre-Precambrian period was so lengthy that they excluded it from the percentile in fear of the minuscule percentile of the other eras. If, per se, the Pre-Precambrian period was added, the percentile would be as follows:
99.98% Pre-Precambrian
0.01% Precambrian
0.01% Other
