Actually.. If you jump down from the top.. And start bhopping on a flat surface you can go much faster... But only in that direction.

bhopping owns. if you can do it properly, kill loads and get away its pr0.

Bro, there isn't a 5th gen anymore. Sideways, forwards, backwards, side to side, diagonal doesn't give any special effects to it to be able to call it 5th gen, or in your case, 'star gen'. However, there is a style of bunnyhopping that a person I know called iPhoenixi that makes you 'tank' more shots. And to all those people say if you do the normal bunnyhop correctly you don't get damaged, that's wrong. In most cases, if the pings are the same, you will tank, if you vary your hops more. But in the case where the GR has lower ping, BL bunnyhopper will not tank the shot(s), well mostly, 'cause that's what happens to me and what I've done as a GR.
Btw, who were you before the patch? Previous name that is.
EDIT: Can you get on the shelves in Lab? Or Jump onto small B vent off the small ledge (the one where GR have to jump over, it's a small thing :S)?

I kinda agree with the thread host especially if BL owns a shovel its guaranteed a kill for them with just a few meters away with the lagg tool.

Remember the time before the patch where only a few people can bunny and you'd watch the rest of the BL jaw dropping most of the time while specing you QQing "HOW DO U F^^ DO THAT?" good old times : ) i liked it better those days. If Z8 makes a 'Gold Shovel' like the rest of the fckin gold weapons to gain more profits from the ZP whhores then we frikin screwed. :O

I have the feeling that this guy can't B-hop at all.

Most people fail at bunnyhop. Just keep your eyes open and you can still see 9 out of 10 ghosts

I have headphones and can hear the bunnyhoppers coming and if I see a ghost moving backwards I can track his bunnyhop pretty well....it's all about not being in a spot a ghost has a clear line at you so move around alot and get headphones...I love bunnyhopping at people tho sometimes you only need to bunnyhop a few times to get a kill, it's all about planing your moves

Bunnyhopping wasn't intentionally implemented in the very beginning.
It IS being intentionally kept and updated, meaning it is a de facto function, not a bug.

Since we got VN physics, its easier, sure. But hopping around fluently is something very few can and have mastered.

Will not be removed, requires some skill to use properly.

Well, I'd say it's pro when you can do it consistently in different directions. This takes a while to master so I guess you can say its pro

I've been using headphones for about a month, and when I first started using em, I noticed they give u a HUGE advantage on gr. Without being adept at pinpointing yet, it was ridiculously easy to find the general direction, spray a bit, and notice the ghost move cuz u hit him =/

That being said, without bhop bl wouldn't stand a chance other than rush planting and kamikaze swarming while hoping they distracted gr for enough time to see a bang.

I agree with the people who say this is a bug, would u see this in COD, hmm im sure u wouldn't, it should be stopped or classed as exploit as its really quite irritating when everyone around you is bouncing around like noobs, iv played this game for a year now and have never tried to "bunnyhop" as it make the game look stupid if i see a post from GM saying this is legit and will stay "i probably wont play Crossfire ever again" as soon as its confirmed legit every noob will be bouncing around, iv been told that when u fire from bunnyhop its as good as crouching still, so it would almost be like having a no recoil hak, if im running its hard to aim good but some noob can go from 1 side of a map to the other with crouched aim his really kinda suks.

I would really like to see this removed or classed as exploit as Crossfire is described as "realistic fps" i dont see real life swat units bunnyhop around with mp5's but that would be worth seeing on youtube!

Come on Saiden do the right thing, ban it or remove it.

If it really was that difficult, 6 on the same team would not be bouncing around like nubs, fu***ng stupid, i wont miss the nubs in this game. z8 - towards fair gamers. so no point in keeping it legit, bye bye
